I recently removed 35 pounds of live rock and am liking the open look, as are the inhabitants. For size reference, the halemeda algae cluster is the size of a basketball, it came out of nowhere about 4 months ago and has really taken off. I've had the moon brain coral on the sandbed for about 5 years and is the size of a volleyball when fully expanded. Unfortunately about a year ago, I lost all my fish except for my dusky wrasse. A friend was breaking down his tank and gave me a strawberry psuedo that was diseased. I lost a show sized hawaiian male Naso, show sized powder brown tang, hippo tang, yellow tang, 2 percs, and a copperbanded butterfly. I had the powder brown for 5 years and have not seen one that compares yet.
