OK....they are ordered....I ordered a flame hawk and twin spot hogfish for the 54G
a pearly jawfish and anemone crab for the 28G...along with a bubble mushroom
I also ordered some emerald crabs, cerith snails, astrea, and fancy nassarius, red moon snails, and 10 peppermints to be distributed amongst the other tanks

Don't mean to intrude new here.. Have you thought about a Yellow head Jawfish?
You are fine :) I am getting one for the 28G (pearly and Yellow are actually the same),......I have a longfin sleeper goby in the 54G, and I am afraid a jawfish and that would not do well together

Watch those pearly's, there crazy jumpers!! Lol. Daughter Paidey just lost hers yesterday in her cube. A space less than an inch and a half. Poor thing, Paidey that is. The jawfish had severe night frights and would loose it's mind when the lights went out. Beautiful fish too!

where the light is in the back by the overflow. found the little critter in the filter media. "Skyler"
she is going to be very bumbed out. Hopefully we can find another soon to fill the void. Wow.
This little guy would really fit through even our net lids. We are going to have to double net to make it even smaller.

What temps do you keep your 54g at? You may have a problem with that red moon snail. I did a little research, and it it is indeed a Norrisia norrisii, it might not live too long. These are considered more of a temperate species, and do not live long in warm tropical tanks. Check with SWF.com and see where they collected it. I know the site says "Gulf of Mexico," but these animals aren't that common in that area from what I read -- they're more of a Pacific coast animal from Mexico on up to Ca. They feed on kelp more than anything else...or at least, they feed on SOMETHING the kelp produces.
It's kind of upsetting that the SWF site sells this without regard to the temperature requirements. I know that it's a common practice with many snails, but still....they're living animals, after all. Now, if in fact they actually do have evidence that this was collected in tropical waters of the GoM, then I'll gladly eat my words.

I know what you mean. The tailspot blenny I bought hid until this am, and hides when I get near the 10g. Pic was hard to get. I had to sneak up on him lol.

Excuses, excuses.....
Lol
It took my hog about a week to feel comfortable in the tank, now he's always out, he never stops swimming so it's hard to get a clear shot.
