I can't believe how cheap I got this thing.. It was at a LFS in san marcos...
I told another LFS in Austin and they were like "what?!?!?! $30?!?!?!?" lol. Disbelief!
I know. Thats why i cant ever get her one. I just cant spend 65 for a feather duster. lol when I can get a regular one for just 15-20 bucks!
Actually found a guy selling one online for 30 bucks, but then shipping would make that 70 bucks so still didnt get it!

You just gotta be lucky man... haha..
This was seriously one of those situations where its so cheap that you can't say no..
Cocoworm>feather duster... that hot pink and white is way better than the standard feather duster colors IMO lol. It was worth... $30 haha.

Around me fd's are $15 and coco worms are $30
I have heard that fd's are opened much more than coco worms, but I have never had a coco myself. Either way I think they are pretty cool little creatures.

I think the going rate for a cocoworm is about $50 on the average.. One *** LFS out here wants $90 though...

Rotary got an awesome price for his cocoa no doubt. Color also makes them more desirable so the brighter the color the more expensive. My LFS has 2 right now $39.99 ea and the worm itself the feather part if you will is easily 2-1/2" long the tube they live in is all of 6" and about 3/4" in diameter. One of them actually has 2 separate crowns that come out. Absolutely enormous, they red and white striped. They look like Candy cane colored, best price i have ever seen around here.
Reb sweet pics especially the one of your zoas on post 1365...awesome pic.

whoa whoa.. you callin my coco an economy coco? hell no! This thing has two crowns, pink&white, 5inch tube.. it was just cheap in price, not quality. I'm gonna get pics up tonight to debunk these accusations lol!
If I was into "value" stuff I wouldn't be buying a yellow assessor lol. I'd have a black cap.

I had 2 they were typical size, you can see them on my previous pages of my thread. I got mine for $15 ea LOL I didnt want to burst rotary's bubble to soon.
Truth is they are not as easy to care for as they may seem. They do require spot feedings of phyto a few times a week, I also used to mix some cyclops up with mine. I got real busy with work and at home and got lazy with the feedings and they died.
