I moved mine to a cool litle spot I wouldnt mind them taking over! Kinda in the middle up under some rocks. Cool little spot I think

the only reason I did it was becuz I had to move the tank to the Apt. So I emptied everything. So it wasnt to bad cuz I had to, but just doin it to do it, yeah it alot of work lol

I like small tanks as well. The 40 was put on hold, cuz I was gonna buy a Solana, but I cant get nothing off the 40 sold so im just gonna set it up and ---- the apt ppl. Freakint he TEK fixture when I bought it was 500 now since the economy is shot u can get them 300 w bulbs and ----... lol so im just gonna set it up whenever I get some money and finsih buying equipment

I like small tanks as well. The 40 was put on hold, cuz I was gonna buy a Solana, but I cant get nothing off the 40 sold so im just gonna set it up and ---- the apt ppl. Freakint he TEK fixture when I bought it was 500 now since the economy is shot u can get them 300 w bulbs and ----... lol so im just gonna set it up whenever I get some money and finsih buying equipment

Reb, I will either do a 40 breeder or a solana as my next tank. Which tek5 light do you have 4 lamp or 6? I was just thinking earlier about how I would set the 40 up and decided that the tek5 6 lamp would be the way to go for lighting. My lfs sells them for a little over $400 for the lens, fixture with bulbs and bracket. Not too shabby. No idea when it will happen but daydreaming is fun.

Def the 6 bulb fixture. With custom bulsb though man so u can get some crazy colors!
I mean I was about to order the Solana and stand and everything the other day for 799 from marine....depot w free shipping.
But I was like damn i got another 1000+ worth of equipment at the hosue just sittin around that I cant sell it for even 500 with ppl trying to low ball u locally, and it beening a pain to ship. So im gonna try to finish the stand so I can have the tank sittin on there at least. Not gonna be set up til March or later maybe. Money is tight since moving into the apt

Money is tight for just about everyone right now. Any way you could get the tank cycling, all you would need really would be a couple of powerheads and the rock in there.

Loving the Halides on the tank! 70 watt isdnt to bright but just right!
Bulbs needs a little more burn in time. Using a ushio 20k!
Only thing bad about the tank is my boy clownfish has been acting sick. At lunch time he was doing great. And I come home from working on my ghetto stand and hes just sittin on his side breathing heavy and not swimmin all night.
Didint have time to check in the tank this morn, but I saw he wasnt dead just still on the bottom.
All levels are at 0 so IDK whats going with him, but ill check on him later
