Im loookin in my marine deopt book right now at work and all I see for 70 watt DE is the
JBJ 14K - 59.99
Aqualine 20K- 89.99
And I order my Ushio from there and I think it was either 59.99 or 49.99

I am looking at hellolights, they list those as well as XM 20k, Ushio 14k, Ushio 10k, and a Aqualine 10k. They also have the bulbs you listed. Decisions, decisions

I hear ya about the car biz, I sold them for about 4 years. But the way things are going, I went back to school. 2 weeks down now.

UGH dont go with a 10 unless u gonna supplemnt it big time.
I ran 10K on one of my tanks and I didnt like it at all it was real yellow without actincs on.
GO 20K!!!!

The viper came with a 14K but I nvr put it in to see how it even looked.
Prolly after I add the 2 Acitnics 18 Watt T5s Ill have to run that 14K so it wont be so blue.
Cuz with that one acitnic on it adds a lot of blue to the tank when I cut it on before and after the haldies go off.

It is all about the par, the output of the bulbs. Some 20k bulbs have more than some 14k or even 10k bulbs. That is why it is so important to go with a quality bulb and not some sleazebay piece of junk.
