Ok, where did you guys get yours? Like what website? Or did you get them through a LFS? I have a 275 gallon tank and i want to cover the rock with ricordia mushrooms around the corals.

Just give them the best light intensity you can with the PC and feed them 1 or 2 times a week with chopped silversides, shrimp, foods like that. Make sure they have enough flow to keep their spirocysts moving a little and they are able to keep their underside cleaned, in other words don't keep them on and touching a dirty sandbed for too long. Keep your calcium/alk level up. Don't worry too much about temps, though they seem to like around 80+ the best and seem to do fine in a wide range of ph, though keeping alk up will take care of this.
I recommend using Kent's Iodine at a rate of 4-6 drops per day per 50gls. If you have a small ricordea/softy load use less.
I do not know about any other iodines on the market so if you ask all I can reply is 'I don't know'. I started using Kents back in 92 and have used it since without fail. If it ain't broke...
Some say don't dose..I have no comment on that. I do and it works wonders on my rics.

Flricodia,
You just made me throw-up a little. And now I think I'll get out of the hobby after seeing your pic of your ric's.
Awesome...truely AWESOME!

P.S.- just kidding about getting out of the hobby but not about the other

Well the day after I wrote ya one of my ballasts went out on my pc fixture.
I had to make a quick decision so I went ahead and upgraded to a coralife MH fixture. I'm slowly acclimating the corals to the new lighting but I'm sure their gonna like these new lights as much as I do.

Looks like I'll be picking up some Iodine and a Iodine test kit next time at the LFS. I tried feeding mine some small pieces of mysis the other day but the fish just steal them or they get blown off. Tomorrow I'll try some cyclopes and see if I can get them to eat that. I'm working on getting my alk back up last I checked it was a little low. Hopefully one day I have rics that look half as good as yours man. Keep up the good work

Oh and thanks for the tips
