heres my 3 rics...They've grow a bit since this pic was taken..
blue has 3 heads
green has 2 I believe
orange has 1 or 2

Just curious, are your rics still on the sand bed, or are they now on a rock? This thread is getting me really interested in some more, nicer, rics (I have a couple of green ons).
Thanks

I put the ric on a piece of rock and put some netting (bridal vail, or something similiar) around the rock and then lightly wrapped the rock with a rubber band to prevent the netting from coming off. I then let it sit for up to a couple of weeks, checking every few days to see if it attached.
They only need light and whatevers in the water for food. I have never spot fed mine.
Good Luck

So I have a question....what is the best way to get ricordeas to attach? I have a small one that I have been trying to get to attach to live rock, rubble etc. and I am not having much luck. I read not to rubber band them should I "net" it like someone suggested in an earlier post? I really want this to take off, it is a really a pretty one and after seeing yours and so many others I want my tank full of them eventually. Also, will hermits, snails, etc. hurt them. I keep seeing mine around them and I don't want them messing with it. I could really use some help/advise on getting this started and any helpful suggestions in taking care of them. I know there have been some posts about them but it would be great to see a forum specifically on ricordeas.........

Personaly I think those are some nice looking ricordea. Your system must be well maintained. Their colors really only 'pop' when they are happy. What lighting do you have?

Check out post 34 in this thread Flricordia explains how he feeds and what to feed. He's the local ric Expert.
As far as how I just use a turky baster and place a small piece of food on it. Just make sure the fish are full because they will usally steal it.

You will be able to see it slowly eat the food. Mine take about 5-10 min to eat it.

Heres a pic of one of mine eating a mysis
