I have never watched it. NEVER. Just didn't appeal to me.
Always thought it would have been fun to go see it at one of the new years eve showings at a theater. That is supposed to be a fun time.

+1, Never seen it in my life.
Saw a bunch of queers come into a mall about 15 yrs ago, acting out scenes or something, but that told me right there that I don't belong with this crowd...

I grew up in Socal in the late 60's and and early 70's. People dressing up weird and acting like aliens was pretty much just another day at the office

Yeah. One of my friends does a Rocky Horror Picture Show viewing at his house. He pulls the projector out and plays it on the side of the house and hooks up his surround sound. It's soo much fun. We bring blankets and eat popcorn.

No, I didn't mean to insinuate that you hung out with queers, or that nobody has heard of it. In fact, most everyone has probably heard of it, and yes..it's known for being the all-time hit of midnight movies. But when I saw a bunch of men come out wearing panty hose, with makeup and jirating.....it just totally turned me off, so I have never had any desire to go see the flick.

My husband has never seen it and I always try to explain that he just needs to go see it at a midnight showing. Some friends and I went to a midnight showing when we were in high school to prepare for the performance at our school. That is an experience I will never forget

We watched it in one of my film classes. Auditorium, 200 students, good projector/audio stuff. Professor cranked Rob Zombie's Living Dead Girl once, I have a pair of Mirage tower speakers, and I was impressed.
Anyway I was sort of put off going in. RHPS is film a lot of people who pretend to be interested in films gravitate too, and of course everyone had to add in their fake 2¢ as well
. About the film, it's good directing wise, it's envisionary and all that. It's good, but I file it the same as Clockwork Orange, it just seems to strike a cord with some people, and it wasn't me.

Seen it in the theater a half dozen times or so. Was always a good time when we used to go. Of course you have to go someplace that lets you use all the assorted things that go along with it like rice, water guns, toast, toilet paper and all that. Its really a terrible movie and all of the audience participation grew out of people making fun of it.
