trate 5
trite 0
ammonia 0.5

i think that it might be dieoff from the base rock that i boiled and the new live sand. its all new rock and new sand with 50 percent old water. i used the same filters and everything though. is the tank recycling?
HELP!

It's more than likely the rock you boiled the new creatures are pushing the old and dead out. Look to see if you have little piles of white powder looking stuff around your rock. If so just keep cleaning it out everyday until it's no longer present. This is a good sign it's just a pain getting rid of the old and ready for the new.

I wil then place it in my new 75 with te new sand and use a little less than halfof the water from the 55 cuz it has phosphates in it. so i have started to set it up wit te help of seth. we have boiled some of the base rock i am using as well as buying 35 more pounds of new base rock. here are some pictures fo te process. comments are welcome

If you boiled all of your live rock you're going to have a complete new cycle I'm thinking. The boiling killed your bacteria.
Since that is the case, if you want true "live" rock, why not order some uncured rock and cycle thetank with that? The life you get off of uncured rock will be far better than you are ever going to have appear on your dead, boiled rock.
