Hard to deny the pistons right now. What are they, 29-5... dominated san antonio in san antonio the other day. Just won by 20 AGAIN. Who's going to knock them off?

Any team they face in the playoffs could do it...perhaps the first round...much like Flip did with the TWolves.

Not any team... aren't they still the second best record in nba history at this point?

When the playoffs start all teams are 0-0. THe only thing the regular season determines is home court advantage and where teams are seeded.
With Flip, seven years in a row he was out in the first round. One of the worst W-L records in nba history as a head coach.
Even with a number one seed in the east...I doubt they can overcome Flip's playoff shortcomings.

The only thing the regular season counts for is seeding...........
Talent and coaching win championships. Detroit had the talent but not the coaching. Flip Saunders as predicted does not have a clue how to coach in the post season.
Say Goodbye to the wannabees..they will NEVER win a championship with Flip at the helm. Their outcome was and is predictable due to the lack of coaching .
The aging Heat had the difference maker...it is called coaching in the post seaon.
Flip did get them to the conference finals...but was that the talent that carried them there?

I do not want to start a fight, but what exactly does a coach have to do with shooting under 30% from the field and missing wide open shots and lay ups? The pistons loss for 2 reasons...
1. They could not make a basket to save their lives.
2. Miami played better.
I thing you are kidding yourself if you think the Pistons would have won this series if the coaches were switched.
Just my Humble Opinion,
bob

Eh, I am rooting for the Mavs on this one. I think Shaq is just a total creep (maybe not as bad as Barry Bonds, but seems to be pretty close).

heat is going to loose.
shaq is to old to stay in the game, he misses to many shots for the salary hes making. i think its about time for someone to retire. and dwyane wade just tries to hard. heat just got lucky, and i really hope the mavs win

you KNOW the heat are gonna win. Thats why you really "hope" the mavs win. If not you would have said...The mavs are gonna win, lol :) GO HEAT!! :cheer:

i didnt want to guarantee anything, and the mavs arent that good of a team, but neither is heat.

you forgot this
lol

i think the only reason the pistons didnt win against heat was because chauncey couldnt make a shot if his life depended on it, and hamilton wasnt driving as much as he should have. rasheed, ben, and tayshaun all played great, as usual :happyfish

Pistons are'nt a good team. The only thing working for them are they're starting five. Thats as deep as they go. As soon as one of them have to leave that team, the pistons are done.

I am glad the pistons are not in I felt after the way you piston fans trew crap at the pacer players a couple years ago that the nba should have taken the team away from detroit and move it to a decent city with decent folks Go dal.
