True, both have been passed over several times... but can you name a better duo?

Sure, using the nba efficiency formula I posted previously Wade and Williams have a combined efficiiency of 40.42 and Billups Hamilton 38.93

Interesting choice, I actually thought you'd go with baron davis and jason richardson.
I'm not sure a mathematical formula based on arbitrarily picked criteria is an accurate way to measure a nba player. Your formula does not measure floor leadership, clutch shooting, postseason winning, etc. into consideration. If it's your opinion that williams and wade are better then I can respect that, but simply tossing a number out is unconvincing.

Efficinecy rating for them is 38.93..slightly lower than Billups hamilton...but they were my first choice but I could not support with a stat.

Post season lis a team effort..including coaching. Floor leadership cannnot be quantified and is an opinion......clutch shooting can be quantified but also needs to be defined so let me see the numbers.

Not my formula but the nba's...I'm not smart enough to come up with something like that

The whole debate of the best backcourt is a matter of opinion, that's why the math doesn't work. IMO, hamilton and billups are the best in the game not only becuase of their points, assists, rebounds, steals, etc but for a lot of other reasons also. They are both excellent defensive players. Both billups and hamilton regularly have their best scoring quarters in the fourth and when called upon, can make the last second shot. They raise their games in the playoffs and also BOTH can command double teams.
I'll give you that Wade is awesome. But Jason Williams cannot defend, is a mediocre scorer, cannot lead his team in the playoffs (even when he was with a great Sacremento team) and is far from a clutch player. Williams does one thing well... pass the ball. Miami's backcourt "rating" is swayed because Wade is so good.

There is a clutch formula as well...the only Detroit player in the top 50 is Billups at number 36 overall in the nba.
Opinions that are not supported by fact are only accepted in court by recognized and documented experts.

Not true... have you ever tried to convince a jury of a person's innocence? Sometimes I have to talk about my grandmother, parents, friends, television shows, sports, etc. Simply reciting numbers is unpersuasive... look at OJ.
Actually this one bugs me more... LOL

So you can argue against quantifiable facts with non-expert opinion?

Yes, it's called cross examination, opening statement, closing statement, rebuttal. I do it all the time.

The prosecuotrs in the OJ trial actually helped his defense in many cases. They were unimpressive as a team.

ANd you do not place on the stand your own expert ?

Maybe its just me...but I would want my own documented and recognized expert to rebutt same for the prosecution.....isn't that what OJ' s team did?

It depends... in most criminal matters, the defendant may not have $5000 to shell out for an expert. At the same time, the prosecution introduces police officers and asks to have them qualified as an expert... yeah, real impartial. Sometimes you have to make do. This is the difference between the law in theory and the law in practice.
How'd we get this far off topic?
