Slow game... just turned it on a few minutes ago. I thought college OT was supposed to be high scoring.

I still would hang in with them on debate/argue. I could get them pissed...maybe I miissed my calling.
I'd imagine you could hold your own in a courtroom. But you wouldn't always have the time or resources available for all that nifty research.

It helps if you can make a filed goal. Both missed in OT..PS missed the game winner in regulation and FL State missed a PAT earlier. If they were standing on the beach they couldn''t kick it in the ocean

OK not anymore. FSU shouldn't even be in the Orange Bowl.

I have gone on record TX will win the game in the trenches. THey will be the national champs. The media is giviing more motivatioon to TX...seems like all this talk about number three (which by the way you have to drive to baton Rouge if you want to see the BCS trophy from two years ago) may light a fire. . No one appears to be given TX much of a chance.....I actually think the game will not be close.
Crap yeat another kick missed by Fla State ...what was the name of that kicking donkey in the Disney Movie...Gus?

one person is not going to make the team, he has a bunch of knuckle heads that he plays with and yes brett favre imo is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, not a very good reference

you cant talk about bret farve and include this year
he could have another year like this, it wouldnt mean he is horrible it would mean he is doing what he loves to do and no one in the NFL has any right to say hes bad or needs to give it up
if he was on the bears... they would be unstoppable
farve doesnt need much talent but come on 3-4th string RB's
only good WR injured ALL season

So what you are saying is that this season wasnt part of his career... :notsure:
Favre had 29 INTs this year...I will agree he didnt have much help, but he did try to force alot of passes that shouldnt have been... IMO he tried to hard to be THE player...
Favre has had a great career and hopefully he will come back for another season to redeem himself, and leave on a high note...

AS predicted..accept I thought Tx would win by a bigger margin....didn't even need the seven point spread...and the Heisman Curse lives on

In fairness, though, the refs gave Texas a td on Vince Young's lateral, where his knee clearly hit the turf first.

I was referring to that bonehead lateral Bush attempted.
Yep, knee was down. Hard to figure why that was not an automatic review. Also, not sure USC would have stopped TX. It would have been 1st and 10 on the 11. USC certainly had no answer in stoping TX inside the 10.
I was watching the game at the local watering hole with some buddies. I saw a couple replays and it did look like it was close to a forward lateral too. But the angles that were shown when I was watching were really not the best to determine this.
The play should have been reviwed......we'll never know if it would have mattered.
