finally update, well actually there is no update besides my green algae is gone and now i have slimey brown algae
, and since i have been dosing calcium gsp and toadstool hasent opened up but idk if thats the problem, my palys have zoa pox, blahhhhh
heres some pics
you can see the nasty algae that is really bad on this rock

tank looks really great! sorry to hear about the slime alge now. hope it recovers! do they sell anything for it?

yeah, i do a water change every week, but i remember with my 20 gal long thread i had awhile ago, i had algae problem then it died then went to brown slime algae then it died so hopefully time will tell.

Do you use tap water for water changes? Sometimes that can cause it.....or maybe cutting down the lighting schedule some. How long are your lights on for per day?

Scott- you said in a post that you snorkel in PB inlet- I live in Fort Pierce now, but grew up snorkeling all over the PB inlet area. We lived at 54th st. and N. Dixie- there's a park there that was my starting point for my snorkeling trips. I made some pretty good change selling fish and BCS as a kid....that's where my saltwater aquarium fascination started. I've never seen a gold BCS in the wild before. Good find.

yeah, i was suprised when i saw the gold one, i went to oceans below with no money one day at like 7 pm so i took a quick collection dive off the island and caught all kinds of fish and invertabrates ive never seen before at like 7:45-8:00, i also caught like 5 flame cardinals that night and i never seen one in the wild before.
