Looks like you are almost ready to go. I would recommend tossing the bio balls out of the sump. No need for them. JMO.

I ordered my cuc yesterday and it will be here thursday, so i will take pics of them and my FILTHY TANK, i really ned them in there to get to work (at least i wont have to add extra food for a while
) O and my QT is done cycling so i may have piics of some fish soon too!!!
I will have pics but since my camera broke it hard to get the pics so I hope to have them up thursday and if not they will be up friday.

OK my snails came in friday. USPS express took 2 days...
My cuc is small for now but most of it is a success. My 4 astreas were dead and i confirmed it this morning.
and 2 of the florida ceirths look like just shells, i cant see a foot or anything.
I kept is really small, but wen I order again im goin to get a lok more. The nerites I got, started to get to work right away just like the nass snails. So I will get more of those. I orded 2Limpet snails, just see how they are. They didnt move at first but now they are attached to stuff and i think eating?

sorry about no pics. But the snilas were late coming in. I got them and 2 of them were hermits!!! they killed 2 Ceirth snails n were in the shells. So they are in my Qt since my fuge isnt finished (or anywhere near finished. But when I oficially start it I will follow ti with this.

I bought 3 turbo snails from a lfs last thursday. Now the tank is looking very clean. Well more clean, its sill very dirty
. I ordered more nass snails and a few more nerites because I only have like 3 nass snails and I need more disturbance and cleaning of the sand bed. Pics of them, some other pics, more snails and hopefully a clean tank on Friday. But I wuldnt get too excited
because I am terrible with deadlines.

sorry for 3 posts in a row, for some reason its not givingme the edit option. I think it may just be my computer being weird but what ever.
just tested my levels. I could only do a 10% water change yesterday, but more salt is on the way so i will do a 20% once I get all the water made up. So my levels arent as good as they shoudl be rigth now but I will fix it soon.

and for future refernce, how could I get this thread moved to reef tanks once it actually becomes a reef?

hmm has anything died in your tank latley? Did you cycle finish completely? I would check it out, but yours para will become stable most likley
PS if you want to be moved to hte reef section just PM a mod like BangGuy or Beth and ask them to move your thread to the Reef section, and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to do it

After I got my salt and did a 20% change all my levels went to where they are supposed to be. Now I am back on schedule.
I am going to a semi local lfs Aqua Dreams soon. Either this week or next and I will be buying some zoas. So i may actually have a reason to take pics and post them. (im so lazy!!) BUt wen I finally get my butt in gear i will have pics or before and after of my disgusting algae over run tank and the difference now.
I was hoping to get a jawfish as my first fish, But I have no sand in my qt, so I would need to get more sand to put in a container for the jawfish. Plus no one seems to have them. BUt if I find one I will figure something out.
If I cant find a jawfish, I am looking at clowns. But I cant decide, true percs, Ocellaris, or clarkii or sebae
. Any opinion or experience with these clowns?

I have a maroon and I love it so much. Only note is that the maroon can be pretty aggressive so I recommend adding it as one of the last fish, so more timid fish can have their terrortory worked out before he comes in a claims half the tank

Got my first coral 2day... a little rock of zoas. I have no idea what kind they are but they are acclimating now, I will hopefully FINALLY post some pics. If I can get the camera right.
