I always seem to do water changes on a day that it is pouring!!! I had to do one last night and now I am soaked, and not with tank water for a change...

the cuc has been in for a while, that was just a pic of the first shipment of cuc i ordered. It is now much much bigger

Went to the house of fins yesterday, Prices are insanely high on coral. The livestock there is beautiful but slightly high priced. But I did pick up very small florida ricordea. I will post pics of that and my clean tank when I get the camera back.

ok its not september 17. But that is the day I get my liscense so i can drive myself to the few lfs in the area. It is very very rare for me to go to one since they arent to local.
But someone had to go out in the direction of one of them, so I hitched a ride. I got 2 clownfish! I am very happy . THey are in my QT and seem happy I gotta go so I will post pics later. I mean it this time haha no procrastinating.
O and I went on a trip with CTARS and I got a big piece of leather coral that isnt doing to well right now. I will post more about it later

well my two clowns are still swimmin so far so good.
I bought some mysis shrimp at the store. But I was wonering how much and how often should I feed them??

I fed the clowns and they went crazy for it. Im glad I dont have any feeding issues with them. Im not really sure how much I should feed them.
I have some pics. My qt lighting is crap so they arent good pics, but at least they are pics

They are probably both male right now. Once one dominates the other one the dominator will become female (usually they will be much bigger when they both start to grow and mature).
I bought 2 clowns the exact same size and now about 4 months later the female is twice the size of the other one. So theres no doubt in my mind who wears the pants...
I did have one problem w/ another pair of clowns and they both turned out to be female and they never stopped fighting.. that sucked.

About a week and a half in QT now and the clowns are doing great! They love mysis shrimp and love to dart around the tank eating it as it goes in the flow.
They almost seem to love food to much. Could I be under feeding them? I seem to give them quite a bit. Is it just the excitement from feeding, or are they starving?

O and my snails know how to write in cursive!!!!!!
On the one astrea snail in that picture I circled a black thing in red. There are 2 of these growing on its shell. Any idea what it might be? Shouldd I clean it off???
On my rock of zoas. They have attached themselves to the rock I rested them on. But now there seems to be a lot of algae on it. Should I pull them off the rock I rested them on to weed or should should I do it in the tank and leave them attached to the rock?

I believe rics are a type of mushroom. And mushrooms are almost impossible to kill So my guess if that rics are pretty hardy. The clowns are actually in qt. it is their last day. Im so excited!!!!!
