How is he doing? Did you find a local spot for the Diamox yet??
He is the same.....actually with the exception of swimming with his tail up (LOL....Itold my husband maybe he was in heat HAHA) he acts fine...eats like a freakin pig, and still manages to swim all over...up and down.
I DID not find it locally, BUT some is already on its way to me....there are some great people out there....and I think we all know that :)

Okay...will do, so I need to check around so I know where to go for meds.
Thank you, I just about to get online and start ordering.
Keep us up to date on your critters condition, it sounds like all will be okay. All digits are still crossed.
Flower....IMO if you could find it locally, just keep a log of where you can get it
what you CAN NOT get, then order.....

Also flower, since she will have to do a 50 percent water change each day with the meds, there is no filter needed. Just syphon the waste out.
Lois-- do you have amiquil on hand just in case.
Hopefully she will do well with the 3 day treatment and you dont have to do Antibiotics too.

YES, Amquel+ is in my med cabinet LOL
I also have more SW made up....My only issue I think is going to be keeping the temp down....I belive this morning it was at 72...I put a fan on it
I may have to keep this room cooler then usual (BRRRR) Although I do have my ro/di ice
HEYYYY CAN you freeze SW????

OK...The Diamox came today....so after returning from the vet I placed the horse in the hospital tank.....and have now added the first pill (dissolved of course)
I will say that running 2 separate airline IS NOISY AS HELL...OH I also had a spare background, so I put it on the back and on one side
I will also admit that I am scared to death of this......As soon as Iput the horse in...it swam directly to a hitch and has not moved from it....it does not look happy

Toes and fingers are crossed. Every fish acts all bent out of shape when you first move them.

WELL....I put some food in the feeding dish and he has not moved.....probably cause he has no clue
I also turned off the bubbles so it would not make the food fly around.....ANYWAY to stick his nose in the dish....LOL

T
Looks the same....she only got the first meds this afternoon....BUT since it is a 3 day treatment I should notice something soon I guess
I have a question though
OK..tomorrow I do a 50% w/c.......do I add the whole pill.....or only 50% worth?
This part always confuses me

Think how excited he/she will be when the food dish is finally discovered...she/he will know all the effort was worth it. The horse looks pretty good and getting used to the new home already.

That anchor looks familiar...I think I had the same one years ago...It does look good. Will the medicines soak into fake coral like it does rock?

I'm glad its doing better, just keep a close eye on it. I would have left it for a couple more days just to be sure, but since you already returned it, just watch it.

I will watch it closely......I was under the impression that if it was better after the 3 days you put it back :( Today would be day 4....it was better...so I did
