Probably just scared of all the racket LOL. You can turn them off, and start them with the treatment tomorrow. But, its your choice. Either way it will be ok.

You can. I think that its really important during treatment. Lots of people have used this with good results, but I understand how you feel. I just poured an algae removal in mine LOL. You know, speaking of chemiclean, my lfs uses it so often, I dont think it works for them anymore. Their tanks are full of cyano. And its funny cause the other day when i bought the algefix, they said hey,we just got this new stuff in called chemiclean LOL.

Up to 48hrs I think. If I remember correctly, I saw results around 24hrs. When it works, your tank gets really clear and sharp.

Just be careful with your skimmer. I know it tells you to resume skimming after your water change, but I had to wait until I did atleast 3 water changes before mine would run without overflowing. Even turned down as far as it would go, it overflowed. You will know when you turn it on. I wouldn't trust it for awhile.

I think I may.....I will see later when the lights have been on for a while
I don't use carbon.....I sue chemi-pure elite in the canister and it is fairly new...so I'm not changing it.....LOL
OH YEAH.....The skimmer is going crazy....I had to adjust it WAYYYYYYY down, BUT I am watching it closely...

Just curious, did you remove it before you added the chemiclean? Or did you run it while you dosed? Yes, keep an eye on the skimmer LOL.

I had just changed it a couple of weeks ago......SO I left it alone
ANYWAY...since I have check valves on all the airlines....I am just going to unplug them...instead of remove them....this way if I have to do it again in a few days, allI have to do is plug them back in

I have been sitting here with the cabinet doors open so I could watch the skimmer.....I have it turned way down...and the foam has still been way up there.....ALL of a sudden...it dropped....LOL....I wonder if that means it is catching up????
I am gonna keep it turned down though for a while longer
