I'm not 'rearranging' my argument, just interpreting the "Law Of The Land" correctly. Yes, I know where the statement is coming from. Look at the PUNCTUATION of that statement. There is a comma after both 'natural born citizen' AND 'citizen of the United States', which would imply EITHER are acceptable as conditions for being qualified to run for President. You seem to want to use this statement as a way to suit your argument. Do you realize that there's nowhere in the Constitution that clearly defines what a 'natural born citizen' is?
Ever look at Section 1 of the 14th Amendment?
Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
So AGAIN, since Obama was BORN in Hawaii, he is considered a Natural Born Citizen AND a Citizen of the United States.
So your conspiracy theory is that Obama wasn't actually BORN in Hawaii? As I stated, even if he was born in Kenya, since his mother was a LEGAL citizen of the US, he becomes one as well. The U.S. Code was created to clearly define what a 'natural born citizen' and a 'citizen of the US' is, since it isn't defined in the Constitution.

But it sure is good entertainment, watching some of you get frustrated as we did when you guys kept saying the war in Iraq could not be won and it is getting worse. Seems we have been proven correct with that.........based off the recent news coverage on how well the Iraqi army is now doing to maintain security and such...

He was not born on U.S. soil. The "natural born" citizen issue comes into play here. If he had become president would you question this issue? Probably not, because you didn't think he was a NAZI. Truth is you can talk, type, yell, and scream all you want about this and it is going to go nowhere. They check all these things before a candidate is even allowed to be a candidate. Get real people, I'm all for standing up for our rights, and god dam it if we have to fight for them we will, but this whole idea of him not being born here is ridiculous, a waste of time, and an embarrassment to the American people who voted for either one of the candidates.
BTW, I was born in the United States in 1982, my parents emigrated from Cuba in 1960. My birth certificate was lost on a trip to Costa Rica when I was 5. My mom then ordered a copy. My Birth Certificate or Certificate of Live Birth (because the are the same thing) looks just like the one that's been posted as the president's except it's blue. I'd like someone to tell me I'm not a U.S. citizen or that I wasn't born here because they don't believe my certificate is real, so I can kick them square in the nuts.

I don't see that we've won anything and fighting in Iraq. It just gave insurgents a place to go kill americans. WOW, the country with the biggest and baddest military went into a way smaller country and toppled the leadership. Amazing...that's good for the people of Iraq. Saddam was a

, but nothing that we've done over there is ensuring my freedom. We're just over there now, fighting off the endless streams of insurgents that we attracted by being there.

19 terrorists killed 3,000 Americans on 9-11.
Thousands of Al Qaeda have been killed in iraq. Want to do the math on how many Americans could have died had the War on Terror been fought in Kansas?

We were fighting the terrorists in Afghanistan and then all of the sudden Bush decided it would be a good time to start a war in Iraq....I'm still unclear why...

So...in this case we give up our sovereignty and do what the UN tells us to do? I thought that was a conservative no-no o fthe highest order! In fact, I thought it was doctrine that the UN should be dissolved, or, at least, we should leave it. So why obey it?

First off it is convenient you left out hte Joint Resolution to use Force I mentioned.
Second, I hate the UN. That said, who wrote and pushed through the 17 UN Resolutions?

in 2003 we were fighting Saddam's regime for refusing to live up to his side of the peace agreement he signed after the Gulf War.
After the insurgency began, until today, we are fighting the Global War on Terror here in Iraq.

My mom was born at home and never had a birth certificate. A family bible was one of the items she was told could be used to confirm her age when applying for social security. A lot of people used to keep track of births/deaths on the blank pages of the bible.
