So here is the problem...I surf a certain sale site that ryhms with begsmist regualrly to check for used goods and stuff I oculd get for my tank...well I fell upon the mother of all deals Here are the details in the words of the owner.
"125 gallon salt water fish tank with stand. Price includes tank, stand, halide light, chiller, sump, protein skimmer, sterilizer 18V, live rock, corals, 4 wave makers, calcium reactor w/ CO2 tank and monitor, starfish, fish..... the whole kit and kaboodle....."
All this for how much you say? Well, a grand total of $800
Now the only way I can get this tank is if I sell off all my others...that means the 36, 29, and my 55 fresh.
Here is my question....what would you do if YOU were in my shoes looking at this great deal on a great reef tank.
Here are some pictures to help you see why I am so in love.

I think you should slow down...and think about what you want...can you afford to take care of a bigger tank?
You started off with 1...went to another....then another

you are gonna end up costing yourself a fortune with your indecision

Hm, wonder why the pictures did not work.
To be completely honest with you Meowzer I have a spending problem...and jump around insesantly. I will be the first to admit that to you. Which is why I am not jumping the gun on this. I don't just have $800 laying around...I am 18 and have a jobh at wal-mart...yeah don't make that much! I want to think about this and when I have the money saved if the tank is still available make my decision then. I have always wanted a 125, and I just think this is to good of a deal to pass up. I won't rush it. Just give myself some time to think, hear what you guys have to say, and be done with it.

Let me ask you this.....are you planning on going off to school? Why not keep the other ones you have, and plan on a larger system when you are more settled in life....

i wouldnt do it. get your tanks the way you want them and then decide if you want another one. Honestly, having that all coral tank is going to take you a long time to finish. And it will cost you some serious coin too.

@Meowzer: I am actually going to a community college about 30 minutes from my house so I commute, saving me money from having my own place, and having to buy my own food. I will be getting a 125 sooner or later...since my freshwater catfish get rather large, but I kinda just want to step out of fresh and into salt.
@Monsinour: What tank are you reffering to..if it's the 36, I have priced it out and will cost me about 2k to get it the way I want it. Which is why I was leaning towards the 125 because its cheaper and already setup, then having to get my 36 up and running. I know this hobby aint cheap, but it woudl save me some $$$ going the route of the 125.

I'd hold off.
You'll see another deal like this on CL. I see a couple Avery week... I have an App that screens CL daily for deals. And I know of more than a few guys who fund their addiction by flipping tanks just in this way.
So, if u want old Guy advice. Decide what u want, clear out the smaller tanks and wait for the pieces u want... and let me suggest a 155 bow over a 125. But get rid of the smaller tanks first. Acquire your lightung and rodi unit next then get the big tank with or without someone else crap after lights n water maker. Go slow or you'll be the Guy selling all ur junk for nothing cuz u can't make it work.
Just mho

So everyone after much thought, I have dicided not to go with the CL setup. Here is what I am going to do, sell off my 36 Gallon with 700gph glass-holes overflow, and 20 long sump...try to get $200 out of it. Then I will tear down my 55 freshwater, make that a sump...and get a 125. But wait for a good deal to come buy...not looking for it to include everything, I kinda just want to start with the tank and work my way up, gaining experienc from the 29 Gallon. Then when I have all the equipment and everything I need, I will have some time under my belt from the 29 and I will get the 125 running and incorperate the 29 into the 125. How does this sound? I thought it sounded much more reasonable than just jumping into things. Take my time, save, work on the 29...and just have fun with it.

Sounds like logical thinking to me.
I did the same thing...I purchased a whole set up off of a couple on craiglist who were moving and needed to sell it. 6 months later I tore it all down to rebuild from the ground up with much better equipment and set up the way I wanted. Had I known better in the beggining I would have just saved my money and started from the ground up in the first place. We live and learn.

+1 I agree with you Corey, I think a tank is much more fulfilling when you can set it up yourself. Not buying something that some one else had chosen the parts for you. Because what one person may like the other may not.

Yeah, Scott I totally agree with you. I am going to go the route of me setting it up myself. Just becasue it will give me more time to learn from the 29 gallon, and give me time to save!

The 125 is going to be my Christmas gift to myself, since my family is a little short funded this year so I won't be getting much in the form of gifts, I will be asking or online gift cards to some good stores to get my tank goodies at. I will fel so accomplished after this endevour is complete.

Kevin, I truly think that you will be much happier if you get all the stuff yourself for the tank and you build it from the ground up.. It will give you a great sense of accomplishment by doing it yourself. I think that you will enjoy having it more with being able to say, "I did this myself." I know that I am going to be very happy and very Proud when I get my tank set up. Yes, don't get my wrong I had the Help of a bunch of Great, awesome, and Kind people on this site who have helped me along the way with my many questions. There is no words that I can say that can express my gratitude for the help they have given. If it was not for them I don't know if I would have the knowledge or the confidence to take on this endeavor of having a SW tank. I also know that I can count on them if I need advice or a question answered.

The only thing that applies to me is the Live Rock. I dont think i would have gotten the second batch of LR as this is where most of the bad HH came from. I would have gotten dead rock and let the live that I had seed it. Sure it would have taken longer to cycle, but I was prepared for that.
