Spanko, I don't spend much time in the reefer section, (gave that stuff up years ago
), but your tank looks awesome.

Spanko did you stick with your stock return pump or did you upgrade it? I have a stock nano cube 24g and am curious if I should put a mj1200 in place of the stock pump for more flow thru my filtration. I will have 2 Koralia 1's so I'm not too worried about over all flow. I would like your advice when you have a second. Thanks

I replaced the stock pump with a Rio 6hf. More flow, less wattage which means less heat transfer to your water.
Maxi-Jet 1200
•V/Hz: 120V/60Hz
•Wattage: 20W
•Max Flow: 295gph
•Max Pumping Height: 69"
•Dimensions: 3.5" L x 2" W x 3.25" H
•About $20.00
Rio 6HF
•V/Hz: 120V/60Hz
•Wattage: 15W
•Max Flow: 350gph
•Max Pumping Height: 72"
•Dimensions: 3.9" L x 2" W x 2.5" H
•About $30.00

Thank you very much for such a concise and speedy reply. The up tube and output head, did you stick with what it came with or did you change that too? If so what did you use. I'm pretty new with aquariums in general so not to sure exactly what to do. Thanks again and congrats on an awesome tank!

I don't know what your tank has leading for the pump up to the bulkhead but the vinyl tube that was on the stock pump on my tank fit right on the output of the Rio.
