Starting a 10 gallon reef

there was a bigger one. they told be the pair for $30 but i said my tank was too small
it was twice the size of the one i have now. but i said naw i want the smaller one
once they pair up dont they become more aggressive towards other tank mates?
i want more colorful fish!!

too aggressive it might eat my shrimps

what about a red/pink scooter blenny like newb said?
has anybody ever had problems with them? but i do need to add some pods into my tank for them

Scooter blennies are just like mandarin fish. I wouldn't get it if I were you. I'd get a shrimp goby with a pistol shrimp.

that would give me 3 shrimps in my tank lol

but it looks really cute and colorful. what if i load the tank with pods? lol

You can load it up with pods, but you'll have to buy pods every week to keep the population up. It will get really old and really expensive really fast. Unless you culture pods. 3 shrimp will be fine in a 20 gallon tank.

i wanted to turn my AC 20 into a refegium with LR rubble and Cheato?
would live brine shrimp work also?

Overall, you have a way too small tank to support a Scooter blenny on pods that your tank will provide. They will need 150+ lb of live rock in just the DT to survive on the pods that the tank will provide and that is MINIMUM. Even with 150 lb of live rock, some people can't keep them alive long term. Live brine shrimp is like candy to the fish, Live brine shrimp are low in nutrients and the Scooter blenny will eventually die of malnutrition.
