Yes, you will need a heater and a filter (HOB is fine just DO NOT run carbon just use filter floss). I would provide hiding spots for the clowns. It will help to make an already stressful environment a little less stressful. I recommend hypo. There is some great info in the disease section on how to perform it and also there is great info there on setting up a hospital tank.

I don't think I can do hypo, I don`t have the supplies it lists, and I can't run out to get them. I will set up a QT tomorow and treat with ich medication, keep them in the QT for (2 months?) and then return them to the DT. Any flaws or suggestions with my plan? Thanks for all the help! :)

Also, are my pictures visible to you guys? If they are could you check them out becasue I was wondering if it's normal for my nems mouth to be open like that?

I would go with a copper treatment, if I were unable to do hypo. Just follow the instructions perfectly. Also, you will have to test for the copper to ensure it stays in the ideal range. However, the test kit that you will need will depend on the type of copper that you use.

Ugh, I have to buy a test kit for the medication? How much money am I looking at? What is the next best treatment after copper?

. A lot of the other treatments that are readily available have extremely mixed reviews. I do not know what to recommend. Looking at about 20-25 bucks to do the copper treatment (this is rounded up heavily). I would get cupramine and seachem copper test.
The anemone does look stressed.

Okay, well keep in mind nem was only introduced today, if the problem persists what should be done about it? Also is the price you gave me (20-25) including the test kits? I only have 25 left over from christmas money, and my parents already gave me more today at the LFS.

Did you try clicking on them meowzer?
I got one to open.....the others just had a squirly circle in a white box
you know...if you want the best way to treat your fish...and least expensive ...IT is HYPO.....it doesn;t really cost you anything to lower salinity....and then later to raise it
think about it...all you have to do is test the water level

I agree with Meowzer. Besides, if you do not already have a refractometer it is a great investment. Meanwhile, the copper and test kit will hopefully just be a one shot deal. Yes, the price included the test kit, cupramine and a rough estimate for increased price/taxes.

In regards to Meowzer, Beths post on Hyposalinity say you need all this equipment and chemicals that I just dont have. Sorry about the pictures, I don't know how to fix them. Gemmy I can afford the copper treatment, but i'm starting to wonder if I need it. Hear me out because im super confused about this; I went down to check out my tank, (the nems mouth is significantly smaller btw)
And when I was checking out my one clown i noticed that there was a small white spot by its eye, a few minutes later it was down my its mouth, and now isnt anywhere I can see? The spots that were on the tail of both the fish have also moved.... can 'ich' spots move? Is there such a thing as fish 'mites' Im very confused and this is looking more and more like a mystery to me!

But i have one of the cheap hydrometers.... wont that not work because the salinity needs to be very precise?
The hydrometers are very inaccurate. As for the ich moving, it does move. Ich is a parasite and the fish can even show no symptoms of ich but it can be thriving in your system waiting to rear its ugly head. Ich preys on all fish, but the ones that succumb to it are fish that are stressed, their slime coat is damaged, sick, etc.
