WELLLLL....this morning some Jehovah Witness came to the house (yup they find me out here) and the first thing the lady said to my husband was ...HEY That's a CORGI!!!!! They are very smart dogs...
THE LESSON TO LEARN HERE: I told him..NEVER NEVER doubt my fish family

:( Poor Buddy....
he is smart...he will sit when I tell him too, and stay, for a second anyway. Really makes me think he has been trained by someone....I may print a pic and go asking around tomorrow....

I'm so excited....and a little sad
I just got an e-mail from the animal rescue and Kare group in my area, and they think they found a home for Buddy (my stray) It would be with a man, Buddy would be his companion and a house dog YAYYYY for BUDDY....
I'm waiting for the response to find out the next steps.....Buddy is such a good dog.....he deserves a home where he can be spoiled indoors....OHHHHH BELIEVE ME he is very spoiled right now, but outside

soooo glad someone who really needs him will take him into their home. Corgi's are great and beagles need to be kept busy also. He is very cute and hopefully all the love you guys gave him will help him move into a perm home

p.s. Scotts...where in the hellz have you been. It takes a sad puppy stray to bring you to the surface. I thought of you the other day. My daughters girl friends, aunt, takes in mommy/puppies from human society. She brought over mommy and 11 (!!!!!) puppies the other day. Mommy was dumped prego and she gave birth in a box next to a dumpster.
She is young, but the BEST mommy. My daughter and 5 of her friends, plus me and my son all had one of her babies. She was so good. She walked up to each of us and looked at us as if to say "let me check on my baby". We all obliged. She never once barked, jumped or became snapy. She will make a great dog and her puppies are soooooo cute.

LTS, As soon as I got my job life decided that it had a ton and a half of sh** that it wanted to throw at us. We think that we are about to get our head above water. (fingers crossed, knock on wood, throwing salt over left shoulder)
Love the story about the mom and pups. 11 is a HUGE litter. Poor momma has her work cut out for her. My wife has a theory that these dogs know you are helping them, so they are grateful and extra kind.
We thought we could try the fostering thing again. Got some on Wednesday and they were not the 8 week old pups we were told. They were the size of Margie and had a rough life and I must have looked like the SOB that gave them a rough life because they HATED me. I have never been bitten by a dog before and I never want to be again. We traded them in on a horse that looks like a dog and her 7 pups. It is all well and good except for the hour I spent cleaning up after them today. Oh well the good with the bad.
Meow, now that you have done the deed, are you going to foster another one?

This one hasn't even left yet.....I'm taking him Saturday to the spay/neuter clinic, and I will find out tomorrow when this man wants to see the dog....
I really don;t know if I could do this very often....I'll let you know after the day I hand Buddy over....

sorry to hear that. But it always seems to come like that. It does in my life. Sucks rocks. Hopefully things will start to look up. I totally agree with your wife. The mom was just so good. She stood in the middle of our circle and kept an eye on all of us. Post a pic of your horse....lol.
