Beautiful fish! You don't see them often.I suspect they're often over-looked in favor of the porcupines, which get way too big for most tanks. The striped dogface is a more manageable size.I bought one of these guys as a "filler" fish. (I pay the fed-ex, so fill in with one more fish). He has nowhere near the yellow color yours has, but is a real crowd-pleaser. For some reason, my nemesis is the porcupine puffer. I really like them, but have just had terrible luck with them. I suspect the 3 (I think) all came from the same collecting station and that was the source of the problem. Mine loves algae sheets too; in fact, all fish seem to enjoy them. I also keep a piece of cuttlebone in a hidden spot for him to gnaw on and he really likes this way of keeping his teeth in check. I also have a spiny box puffer with the same habits. Are you doing anything special, dental-wise? Also, if you have a secret to the yellow color. please post it!
