Well, I was dosing blindly every day with Kent Nano Reef A & B. But now I'm just dosing when my calcium gets in the lower ranges

They're swimming all ways possible right now. Lights out is gonna be sooner than normal tonight, to help them get comfy more.

I can do pics right now. But it's a bit dirty with algae on the glass at the moment, and I don't wanna stick my hands in there too much with the clowns JUST being put in the tank

So the tank's pretty dirty, but I'm trying to keep my hands out of there for a couple days while the fish establish themselves. I have two pep shrimp in there hopefully get rid of an Aiptasia that I see growing. No pictures of them, because I think they are ugly, and they will not be calling this tank home permanantly

thanks
Following are the pictures to my descriptions. I got a dremel, and cut out some of the vents, to make them bigger allowing for better airflow. That's the first picture. I did it on both sides. You can also kind of see that I opened up the hood, and rewired the LED's seperate from the PC's. This allows you to put your lights on a timer, and not have to worry about turning them off and on. Second and third picture are of my fuge and filtering. The compartment on the left is actually for the skimmer that I pulled out. In there is Chemi-Pure, and activated carbon. I'm pulling the carbon out, and I'm going to put in Purigen. Next compartment is a stock filter, basically only good for large particles. The big compartment is the fuge, which houses Cheato, and possibly Copeopods. The next one is where the "bio balls" or whatever they are called, that come stock, should be. I removed them, and put in more filters. Coarse and fine. Then there's the return compartment with the return pump. The last picture is of the "mock up" fan I have going. Yes, that's electrical tape. I have yet to order the fan kit from nano cutoms or nano tuners (I forget which one), but it will replace the mock fan I have.

I guess I can just keep updating. So I went to Home Depot and bought a chord to rewire the moonlights, put the whole tank on a programmable timer. Also bought a dremel, so cut out some of the slots on the side for better ventilation. Now I have been busy reading for hours about lighting, and still haven't decided if it's gonna be worth adding another 24W light into the fixture. I took the bulbs out, and found a way to make it fit, but would it even be worth it? And what about switching to 50/50 bulbs? I ordered LED resistors, voltage sources, bulbs, wires and such, to upgrade the moon lights. I'll be adding (or trying to) two blues, and two whites into the hood to help transition the lights into a "dusk" affect for the tank. Anyways, I have these being shipped tomorrow

what kind of power cord did you buy? to split the lights, also did you get the fans from nanotuners or did you get the $160 chiller? how many pounds of rock you have also the back light on the tank where the Refugium is as well the skimmer are working right?
thanks and sorry for all the question i just want to get all the feedback before the big day when i get my tank.

I bought a regular replacement chord for a basic lamp. All you need is a two prong replacement chord. Got it for around 5 bucks.
The fan I bought is (the one electrical taped) is an Aqualight Cooling fan. 3.125" x 3.125" x 1". I originally bought this fan in hopes of doing my own fan upgrade kit, but it's too thick. That's why I just taped it to the hood. But I'm only using it as a test, till I get the fan kit from Nanotuners. What I've read though, is the directions for that kit are very complicated, so when I get it, I'm gonna do a write up for any future people that get it to better explain it. I have NOT gotten that kit yet, nor the chiller. I've been holding a pretty even temp so far at right around 79, but we'll see when the summer comes. I have around 12 pounds of live rock in the tank, all precured. The light on the back fuge comes with the tank, and I've pulled the skimmer out to put in all the stuff I have in there right now...it's on the above post I believe with the pictures...crap....I forgot the pictures. Uploading them now
And no problem about the questions, I'm always happy to answer whatever I can
