Regardless, the OP made the choice to sell it at his loss, so yep, he may have in fact forfeited the ability to do anything about it at this point. He could get himself in a real pickle if he disputes it only to find out that he needs to return it. It could even be construed as fraud.

Regardless, it should serve as a pointer to all on how to handle similar situations in the future.
