tank cycled in less then a week?

I think it comes from the fact that people are always asking "is my cycle done yet?"
Most often folks don't understand they are talking about the initial cycling of the tank where the main population of bacteria is built up getting ready for critter additions. I always try to interject that the tank is continuously cycling with the nutrients available. More nutrients = population increase. Less nutrients = population die off.
