Come on up by Al and I. We are getting about 4-8 inches today and tomorrow the right hand will deliver atleast a foot. BTW, global warming will develop unusual weather patterns and produce cold in areas that it doesnt normally get cold. However, global warming is a farce as the human race only contributes about 3% of the CO2 on this planet. Yes that includes our factories, cars, and all things connected to humans.

I will gladly trade you for the 20+ inches heading our way, here in Illinois on the Wisconson boarder!

Weather in Boca: Currently 70 degrees, mostly sunny and breezy. High of 76, low tonight of 66 (Brrrr!)

Go ahead and save this to bring up when I start pishin and moanin about the 100+ degree weather in August and September...... and October. Winter for us doesn't really start until January 1st, and unfortunately doesn't last more than a few weeks. I wouldn't mind living in a place where there were some actual SEASONS involved.

We've been short on snow but it's been cold enough to freeze the nads off a polar bear. Huge swings in temp this year. 4 days ago we cracked 60 and today it was 13 below last I looked.

It it's an all metal key just hit it with a cigarette lighter for a couple seconds and try it again. Doesn't take much to unfreeze the lock.

My brother lives in an area where it gets double digits below zero every year and he doesn't have a garage. You'd be amazed what people there will do to get their cars started. Every year at least one person ends up burning their car to the ground cause they didn't clean the grease and oil off the engine. Come the first hard cold they'll set a weed burner or hibachi under the engine to warm it up and the grease ignites.

LOL, starting a car with a hibatchi. Thats great. Coldest weather i endured was a strech back in Ohio a long time ago. For the week it didnt get above -15 below. I was delivering pizza at the time and choose to do so without a coat on. I made awesome tips and didnt freeze at all. Everyone was asking where my coat was and I told them I left it at home. Seriously though, you dont get that cold in the short time it takes to walk to the house and ring the bell.

Along with the 20+ inches of snow expected... 8 below 0 tonight with 50 MPH wind gusts..and I get to work in it. The only reason I live here is because this is where I work. Nor do I have any hopes of leaving here because my Grandkids are all up here.
I'm just wondering if there is any perfect place on Earth...a place where it isn't super hot or cold, with next to none.. earth quakes, tornados, hurricanes or volcanoes.

Aruba. Outside of the hurricane zone. Average temps in the low 80s, which are almost constant no matter the time of year b/c of the trade winds. Mild seas, 18 inches of rain a year average.....
Yes. I've thought of moving. You betcha.
