OK, I ended up going with the 150W Coralife Aqualight advanced clip on light. I'm running topless for now, we'll see how it goes.

Will do. So far the temp seems ok. I've ordered some corals that should come in on Friday. I've also ordered a thermometer to monitor the temp as well as a new HOB filter to replace the standard eclipse filter that gets in the way of my light.

well...... lol...... I asked for the best actinic lighting they had for the 18W system I bought, and they just gave me a "Blue Light" is how they had it marked......... So to be honest.... I have no clue..... I am sorry...... I will go look at the light its self.....lol ..... I will get to the bottom of what it is!

Just checked it .... it says it is a "true blue" by TransWorld......... I dont know.... sorry about that....lol

No worries,
I've got the MH all hooked up and want to supliment with Actinic. I seem to be able to find plenty of fixtures that have dual lights, but I don't need the daytime light just the Actinic.
