I'm with you sweetdawn, if most men (I'm not saying all) would share equally in the home/kids they may see a major difference in their partner. I know several women who's wives do EVERYTHING. work, clean, kids, soccer, baseball, cook, organize everything for their lives and the men come home to dinner. Then they complain that she is always tired and never interested in anything. Even if the women stay home, they still need a little help/break and sharing with the responsiblities of the home/kids. :)

AMEN Lovethesea!!!!! I was in the Army, built stairs during a 2 year construction job, worked security at the hospital AND ran the communication cables through ceilings and NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is as binding, time consuming, frustrating, and harder work than raising kids!!! (If you do it right) Before I met my hubby, he cooked his own meals, washed his own clothes, cleaned his own toilets, AND WORKED A FULL TIME JOB!!! Now, he acts like he can't do anything because he works. I understand that the house is my job, but I need a break every now and again.
Man, guys work their 8 hours or whatever and the rest of their time is theirs. I could only wish for one day to myself!!!!

Yeah agreed. My husband and I had a talk about this just a little while ago. Men think being a house mom is a piece a cake. I say that any man who says staying home and rasing kids is not a 24/7 job with no vacations/lunchbreaks/sickdays/days off/sleep. Should be left alone with my two younger kids for a weekend, and watch how fast they get up for work on Monday.
What is up with men when they get married? They turn back into little babies. Mine is the biggest babie when he gets sick. Even with a stuffy nose.
I don't watch soaps, but take this into consideration women/soaps
men/sports it evens out at the end.
Every women and men need a break now and again from the kids, cleaning cooking, paying bills, and even sometimes from the spouse. It's a normal natural thing. I just wish the men would understand this a little bit more.
Are you sure .... men die wayyyy before woman? I worked with alot of elder people and it seem to be that there were always alot mor men than women. But I don't know thats interesting.

I think men view it as simply watching kids. And who wouldn't want to stay home all day? But what they don't consider is the lack of freedom. I think a man in jail would definately be more stressed out than one who works even the toughest jobs!! A full nights sleep, doesn't happen. To read a book, doesn't happen. All the issues mom's fuss about the most are not the difficulty level rather the lack of freedom. I am not saying it as a bad thing, I wouldn't trade my life for anything, but I say it to inform men of their lack of contribution. You guys work. BIG DEAL!! You would do that whether you had a family or not, Bottum line is that men are a little more self-serving, and inconsiderate than women!!! (and that's my sensative side!)

Even if a woman sits down to watch soaps she still will have to get up ten times to feed the kids, get drinks, change a diaper, clean up the drink the child spilled, etc. When you guys who watch sports you hold your pee till half time ask us to get you a beer, and become one with the sofa.

And what's wrong with that? You could always say no, get off your lazy a** and get it your self. On the other hand you married us.

I bet before she married you, you would not have had that attitude with her. It is one thing if you are being funny, but another if really beleive it.
I have to agree with everyone else, that people in general do not take enough time to get to know one another. You can not get married and expect to change the person, that is both ways. You change together.:D

No one should change!! Take it or leave it, YOUR decision.
Alot of people are saying that people don"t take the time to get to know one another, this may be true, but I don't think this is the case. Women are the root of allllllll EVIL.

I have to admit. Man I love my wife. Iv actualy known her since second grade Im 29 now so we kinda go way back. We also dated for 2 years and was engaged for another 2. But not everyone is the same. As said you change through life. BUt you know I cook 95% of the time. She just finished her degree up and I tell you I had dinner ready for her every night.
