i'm an insomniac except i have to go to my room at half 7 to give the adults quiet. go figure LOL. i sleep at about half 10 to half 12 and then wake up at 6. shh can't post here only 4 o'clock here( shoot)

Hey, question, if you could only add a ca and alk product once a week to an aquarium, what would it be and why? Kalkwasseron, two part, What? Brand?

I use Kalk. It's hard to screw up. I run the ATO through a reactor.
My brother went to the bayou once. He called me. Ran out of bullets. Never happened before. Couldn't believe all the critters he had to clear out for a friend there.

Hah. Cotton mouth moccasin snakes are bad around here. I enjoy it though. It's just too hot in summer. Last summer it topped out at 117f.

Yeah, Most of what he was shooting were the snakes but the way I hear it there are 20 more waiting to move in when you kill one. I always thought it would be cool to have a place right on the bayou but yeah, summer and hurricane season would take the fun right out of it.

LOL!!! I like the title to this thread, My kinda hours.. ha. So My dads been helping me with the tank and helping broaden my SW knowledge, we tested the PH, it was low, He sends me an email, PH control for DUMMIES...nice. Although i learned alot from the artical, it said you can make it higher my adding baking soda and lower it with white vinegar, or control products.

If your PH is low check your calcium and alkalinity levels before you do anything. If they are in the right range your problem is high levels of CO2 in the water.

Muzzleloader season for deer started this weekend in a few states in the area. Maybe some people will knock down some deer and the taxidermy shop will get busy again. I hope so! That means I can pay bills and have some money left over for my tank and saving for my daughter! woohoo! I can't wait till Monday.

They seem to keep busy year round around here....LOL
