The unfortunate perception of a lot of people.

This election is going to be based on perception... and I hope it doesn't... but I think its possible this election will come down to hom much of an impact the 'Bradley Effect' will have. Obama should be ahead given the war in Iraq and ecomomic crisis we are in.... Obama's policies are superior than McCain's in the effect it will have on the middle class and most of the other issues we face... McCain does equal more of the same. There is an elephant in the room that people aren't talking about.

This is simply a rediculous premise. What would happen if there was a republican push that said, well what happens when Obama gets assasinated, do we really want joe biden to be president? After all mlk got shot. Come on, McCain dying is just as likely to happen. He does come from good family, his mom is what 96 years old.
And she isn't some senile old crippled lady.

Well if that is the case, obama is a muslim. And thinks there are 57 -59 states.
I believe he said or meant 57 contests for the primaries... I don't understand why people keep going back to that.....
and what I said is a fact... she said this. -- and this is my whole point... perception... McCain can not compete on issues... they have to do it with these smears. ... false ones at that... and look how they act about this whole troopergate thing.... 1st they want to cooperate... now they refuse to testify... it is more of the same... Reform... yea right.

I like the Electoral process as it helps maintain States' rights.
Without the Electoral process, would candidates ever bother to campaign anywhere other than the big five states?
Like they do now, if the state is in the tank for a candidate. Like how hard is McCain going to push in say california. Or Obama in Alaska?

Please, we are already crying racism? Great.
I might vote for him just so don't have to listen to them while about how racist we are.

With, potentially the oldest incoming president ever, isn't his running mate even more important.
BTW, this lady is a complete nitwit. She didn't even have a passport until just a couple of years ago. Hasn't been mentioned much but she had a child out of wedlock, just like her daughter is about to. This lady is marginally educated, has a husband with a high school education and a DUI history. When she speaks (without a scripted speech), her ignorance is apparent. How can anybody suggest that she is qualified to be the 2nd in charge?
BTW, has anyone else heard that Biden will be bowing out of the election for apparent medical reasons, and will be replaced by Hillary?

Because you just took the order Palin said the "palin mccain ticket" (if it happened didn't hear this) and used the misspeak to counter me saying McCain was running for prez not palin. so I used a tired Obama gaff to illustrate the absurdity of your argument.
As for trooper gate, if you guys are ticked off because she fired a guy from position she appoints, because he was insubordinate and went behind her back several times to undermine her. Then you guys are struggling.

LOL by nitwit you mean conservative.
Hey why is she ignorant?
Instead of the typical liberal rediculous claim then leave, why don't you explain why you think she is ignorant?
She wasn't on script at the RNC.

Well, she couldn't identify the Bush Doctrine when asked about it in an interview. I also thought that I specified my reasons in the original post.

This lady would need a boost to be an "Average American". Is this the 2nd best presidential possibility that the Republicans have? Would you feel comfortable with this lady as president if something happened to McCain?

So now you snobby liberals think you have to have a passport to be smart?
Maybe the reason the media doesn't cover the out of wedlock thing is that it isn't true. According to news accounts Palin was 18 at the time he enlisted in the army on Sept 11 2007. The palins were married in August of 88, you do the math. Even if it was true what does it matter?
And my favorite is you make a big deal out of the fact the husband of the GOP vice presidential candidate has a DUI that happened before the Democrat Presidential candidate stopped using illegal drugs

I totally disagree, that was a trap question if I've heard it. If she straight up says yes. They'll turn around and pin the supposed "bush failings" on her. And it would have been fuel to the fire of the "McBush" argument. If she makes him define it, she can then go and use his perception as a base work to answer the question. As well as highlight his bias when reviewing the "Bush Doctrine"
I would, she is an actual conservative, vs someone trying to mask a socialist agenda as change.
