Yes, the lady is relatively uneducated, never travelled anywhere except her own tiny (by population) state, husband with substance abuse crimes in his past, her issues with the state trooper, teenage motherhood, her children, her affiliation with the Alaskan independence group. And let's not forget that I personally think that she sounds stupid when she does not have a prepared speech.
These things aren't enough for me to think she's an idiot? Just my opinion... you may not agree. But then again, our respective judgments on her intelligence are clearly relative...

Have you looked into the firing of the trooper? She did the right thing. Lack of travelling does NOT make her an idiot. Especially considering Obama's "experience" is his trip overseas earlier this year. Where he suggested them leave the troops in till he took office.

I do find it ironic, you are willing to call her an idiot b/c her husband had a DUI but don't say a darn thing when obama admits to "experimenting" with drugs in highschool...

I bet she knows how many States are in the United States...
Remind me again which Ivy League University Ronald Reagan attended?

What affiliation is that exactly? Again, Obama has much more than an affiliation with Domestic Terrorists.

Fair enough. Your opinion on how she sounds, however, certainly does not make her unfit to be VP.

Each of you is using flawed logic, IMO. You are attempting to argue each point I made like it's the single reason I think she's Goldie Hawn in Protocol. Step out of your vacuums and look at the entire picture, with all of the issues that this lady brings to the table. It really doesn't matter to me if you disagree but I don't think she's fit to run a PTA meeting. Watch what happens at the Vice Presidential debates. Palin is going to be exposed.

I'm not using flawed logic at all. I'm comparing my VP candidate with your Presidential candidate... or in the case of education with one of the greatest Presidents of our history.
Look at all of the issues and "friends" Obama brings to the table.... Sorry Crimzy, space doesn't hold enough "vacuum" to contain that mess.

So your point is that Palin is not an idiot because you don't like Obama. Makes sense... I guess.

On the contrary, I think your whole argument is flawed, ESPECIALLY looking at the big picture. Look what she is running for vs what Obama is running for. Look at her "foreign experience" vs Obama's. Obama's experience is a photo-op tour. Where he went in as an acting senator and lobbied the Iraqis, undermining our goals as a whole for his own political objectives. And he IS running for president.
You list individual "flaws" that mainly don't hold water. DUI, her firing her employee who was going behind her back to undermine her. Her experience rubbing shoulders with foreign dignitaries is lacking, but unlike Obama, and Biden, she has actually been in charge of a military force...
Then you list her impromptu speaking skills as flawed. (I think you are clearly biased here she wasn't bad) Have you heard Obama off prompter. Where you just a short time ago, mocking me for talking about Obama's off prompter "skills?"

Hold on, I thought Obama's wifeewas off the table of scrutiny based off comments made here and by obama, yet some would bring up a dui from how long ago of the husband of the vice presidential candidate...Ok, fine, let's look at him, and while we are at, lets break down her thesis which was written at princeton clearly stating she would do everything in her power to elevate black people instead of white people....hmmm....let's see a guy that gets a dui once or a lady that supports a reverse racist agenda...take your pick.

she has already been exposed... and they are limiting her accessablility.. She has only given 2 interviews... compared to 71 from Biden. She also always appears only w/ McCain at events... If you listen to her interviews... they don't leave me with the perception that she could be president. I guess she is meeting w/ leaders at the UN... but again she has absolutly no foreign policy experience or any record on that front to speak of... and McCain thinks Spain is a rouge nation

yea pull the 1st dude off the table..... and her thesis from what I remember centered on african americans.... and the criticism is that she didn't address white people... but that is like saying you have a zoologist who writing a thesis about western gorillas in the Congo and saving them... but some nut wants to criticize the thesis because it didn't include mountain gorillias in Rwanda. So suddenly... the author of the thesis ... is now anti mountain gorilla... instead of making a logical conclusion that the author wanted to concentrate on the unique characteristics of western gorillas and the challenges that face them in that region... and not that she didn't care about gorillas in general... just that this was not the topic of the paper.
We can talk about the common sterotype that people try to paint black women as....."Angry"... people call the Obama's up-a-tee. All common and out of line.
The story you mention is a common american story... people want to root for the underdog... We see it in all the movies ... these are stories of heroism and fighting for the unprivlidged... yet in this country when we fight for or try to elevate the poor... its socialism ... when we talk about elevating minorities... its reverse racism...
But I agree... spouses shouldn't be what is relevant in this campaign... however they do play a roll in an administration...
Palin:
What direction has she given the Alaska national guard... what missions... what did she do as a leader of the national guard to say she has experience in making these decisions.

Unprivlidged, explain that please.
as for elevating the poor, Hmmm...I seem to remember a movie called the pusuit of happyness (true story), that underdog rooting I will do and support, why, because he did it himself and made something of himself. Sure he used soup kitchens and shelters, this is what they are for, but what he did not do was apply for assistance...this I respect.....this is the american dream and rooting for the underdog. This is a man over coming race by PERFORMANCE and determination. NOT because he was black, but incidentally he was black.
Michelle would have it be because they were black, read the thesis, I have.

lol, dude, who made the wrong, choice? Politically...
Biden: 'When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television'...
No new Coal plants?
Seriously, you moan and groan about her, some call her an idiot for baseless stuff. While you have some guy running around like Biden. You make baseless claims. Hoping someone will believe them without backing them up.
Palin was a brilliant move politically, I seriously was considering NOT voting for McCain. Now I am. I'm sure there are a lot like me.
I guess I should be happy. If all they can say is that Palin's husband had a DUI 20 years ago, her kid has a kid, she didn't have a passport, she fired someone who let a trooper off who shot a 2 year old with a tazor and showed up at work drunk. We aren't the ones in trouble.

No.
My point was that you are being hypocritical to fault the VP candidate of one party when your Presidential candiate has the same or worse weaknesses and "flaws" yet you fail to discuss those.
