My false perc nips my hand when I'm feeding as well, but it doesn't hurt or pinch, it feels more like a little kiss lol. My friend's two neon gobies clean my hand when it's in their tank.

Nice!
That's an ocellaris' handywork?
I've been "bitten" by:
Naso Tang
LMB
Ocellaris
Purple Tang
Chromis
None of which hurt - but all of which I wasn't expecting..

How about being unexpectedly nipped and yanking your hand out so fast salt water shoots across the room. Compliments of my royal gramma.

Our Clarkii pair will nip at my hand when I have a glove on, but have yet to nip at my skin. Personally, I think that they remember the GLOVE because I used them when we moved and separated the 2 BTAs that they had to play in. The org. BTA split again so they have 2 again, but they still hate the GLOVE.

My true percs "nip" at my hand when I'm trying to hand feed my CBS. Bugs the heck outta me when they shred the piece of krill before the CBS picks it outta my fingers.
...As for the water comment... One time I was feeding my CBS and watching my clowns shred the krill when the CBS got my finger while I wasn't paying attention. Didn't hurt, but scared the crap outta me. I yanked my hand outta the water right into my lights/reflector. Burned my arm (minorly) cause I couldn't free my hand from the angle it hit right away.
My sisters 10" oscar bit my finger once. I was running the diatom one day (if you've ever had an oscar, you'd know why I was running it), and when I was fooling around getting it started up, it must've thought my fingertip looked like it's food pellet. (The thing was on pond food cause the large size cichlid pellets were way too small, required some extra water changes and lots of other various food frequently, but it worked)... It bit, and it stung. Felt like a little electric shock. Nothing too bad, but sure scared the heck outta me. We had to move the oscar later and give him to my coach cause he kept growing. I think he is about a foot long now. We bought him from the LFS about 8 years ago or so when he was about 1.5-2".

It startled me more than anything. The Maroon then proceeded to feed the chunk of flesh to her Anemone.
I was seriously worried about infection but that never happened thankfully.

I had a big, female Red Devil who would bite the glass if you touch it with you finger. You could actually hear the teeth hit the glass. I hated having to rearrange the tank when cleaning it. Anyone with large cichilds knows what messes the make. I had to keep an eye on her on one side while working the opposite side. Then herd her over to that side to clean the other. One day she charged like a bullet. I pulled my arm out so fast scraping it against the tank trim. It looked like a bad case of road rash. Not to metion I manage to get water on the ceiling, walls and floor. :hilarious
