First of all CALM DOWN.....Do you have any SW made up for a water change? IF NOT GET SOME....DO a large water change...I forget...what size tank do you have????

How long has the tank been going? How much do you feed? Size of tank and inhabitants? I would get some water prepped for a 20% change which will be completed tomorrow.

How long has your tank been up? Do a water change now. Turn the lights off to reduce the stress on the fish. How big is your tank?

Time to CALM DOWN (like Meowzer has stated). Next, answer the above questions. Then, prep water for a 50% water change. Finally, relax. The are several reasons as to what could be causing the spike. Just answer the questions and we will help you get things straightened out.

James....we discussed this the other day.....things will go wrong...we have to deal with them, and we will help you, BUT ..smack smack....get yourself together.....YOU have to change some water
I think your tank may still be too new, and you may have added the fish too soon.....but let's deal with this, and try to save them

Tank been up 4.5 weeks feeding twice daily not overfeeding. i have a filter rated at 450 gph with two biowheels i have two koralia 600gph powerheads i have about 30 lbs liverock i have 5 turbo snails and four blue leg hermits.

I may be wrong but I thnk the tank may still be cycling. 4.5 weeks is not long enough to have tank with that bioload. I would recommend prepping water for a 50% water change to be completed tomorrow. I would also reduce to one feeding a day. 2 fish don't have to compete for food at feeding time.

I would tend to agree with the above....what type of food are you feeding?
DO you have the capabilities of making up a large batch of new SW?

Stressed out. The water conditions are crappy and it's not happy. How would you feel trapped in a polluted swimming pool?

I would do about 10-12 gallons personally. Just remember you have a 29 gallon tank, but with sand & liverock the water volume is actually less. Do you use RO/DI water? If you can try to prep the water tonight so the salinity will be perfect tomorrow when the water change is done.

I have two clowns and a six line in my 24, and I feed them maybe twice a week about 10 pellets/time. How much were you feeding twice a day and what?
