do you have a game plan for fighting it?
I am in the midst of trying to starve it out and doing water changes every 5 days, while trying to siphon most of it out, so far my plan is a draw at best!

thats a good start...if you have the means to you can increase your flow...cyano tends to bulid up in low flow areas of your tank...also you could try turning your lights off an hour or two early...
good luck...i still havent eraticated all of my cyano...but i am close...

Here is one of two that I recently received from Candycane.
Teardrop Maxima

The Blue Joker Maxima did not make it unfortunately

He had the Joker for a few weeks then it just decided to take a nose dive off the rocks or something wasn't it? It seemed to be up there, be comfortable then it jumped.

I have had some questions about the joker. I want to make sure that people don't blame Candycane for a bad clam. That is not the case.

The clam did quite well in transit and was the happiest of the two when I got it. It attached to a rock and stayed there for the first 2 weeks of it's life. Then suddenly one day it hopped off and looked bad. The next day it was cleaned out.
The above clam would not attach to my rock work and kept hopping off. It even hopped off into the back of the tank while I was gone for the weekend. My wife fished it out and put it in the spot pictured above and it secured itself.
Throughout the whole experience, Candycane was available for any questions that I needed answered and he helped my wife save the Teardrop while I was at Cub Scout Camp.
Sorry to Candycane and anyone interested in his clams for the unintentional slam. I would buy from him again.

I'll be soon posting pics of the 6 that I have from CandyCane. In my first order I received 2 Crocea's and a Maxima and today's shipment had 2 Maxima's (one is King) and a Crocea. I just have to decide which clams go to with tank :)
