I hope you guys arent getting tired of me putting this here .
well he is draining fluids good .his wounds are 'weeping' alot , but the nurse said its normal.the doc says that once they start actually feeding him they will see how the remainder of his colon works and if they need to go in and do a colostomy on him (temporary or permanant). he is not as puffy as he was and he 'watched'( he actually listened cause he can't see well yet) some hgtv with me today ,he agrees that the people on the show we watched earlier should not have put their kids toys in the same room with their bar haha. no more real news yet - oh he started pulling at his gown and the nuse asked if he wanted if off he nodded yes- pervert is up there n-a-k-e-d now hehe so any pics will probably be head and shoulder shots , but he is covered with the sheet and at least a little more comfortable ,i will be taking the laptop up there tomorrow and will read your posts to him he sure does miss you guys, you really don't know how important many of you are to him and me ,you have been so wonderful and supportive and i thank you for letting me come on here and vent out all of this. i'm so happy right now because everything is looking better ,very slowly ,but better nontheless. i have had to make arrangemnts to send my kids to live with relatives when he gets home for a couple of weeks which sucks but he cant risk getting anything they may bring home from school. and my cats will have to live outside for a while which they wont like because baxter is tobins therapy cat and little shadow, i hope he understands. thats all for now...jenny

tell tobin we are all still out here rooting for him. even my girlfiend who doesnt really pay attention to anything I do on here, keeps asking about him. she noticed me reading one of your updates a while back, and wants to know how he is doing constantly. she asks how the "two bean" guy is doing.
so "two bean" we are here and waiting for Ya.

Jenny,
You keep on posting. Tobin and you are a bright light in our world and I am thankful for your boldness in asking on the world wide web for prayer. Me and the kids (30 of em) of Faith Southern are praying deligently.
I was thinking of you guys when I read this.
Romans 12:12 (NIV)
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
God Bless and all our love
Tim

GREAT news! You keep posting and we (SWF.com community) will keep on praying.
Do you REALLY expect us to believe the old "my clothes are chafing me...mind if I take em off" trick. Somebody is feeling MUCH better, huh?

I agree with everyone else... keep posting. It's nice to have something substantial to hear about around here besides the usual stock list or fish with ich threads. I find myself wondering how you two are doing when you haven't posted in a while.
Send Tobin my best, (and if you really want to wake him up make sure the nurse giving him a sponge bath is 300 lbs, a senior citizen and bald). That should wake him up a bit.
Just as a side note, I give you a lot of credit. Without you supporting him, Tobin may not have as much to fight for. I believe that you are a large part of what's keeping him alive. You're healthy yet still suffering this disease with Tobin. He's lucky to have you in his life... when he gets better that rock better be fat.

Great to hear!
It's nice that you can keep a sense of humor during tough times; by keeping your spirits up will really help strengthen Tobin and make his recovery faster.
One phrase I've always like from a Lonestar song is: "The good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb".
Keep us posted, and tell Tobin we miss him at swf.com

Tell him to get better, We look foward to seeing him post in the future....
He did the transplant right?
A friend of mine had to go through that..It will get better...As long as he is pulling tubes and gowns...He still has fire in him..It is a good thing.

when i woke up this morning i wasnt feeling good so i opted not to go visit today cause i certainly dont want to chance him getting something , i called the icu unit and they said he is doing the same , so far as sponge baths i do all of those ,but maybe since i wasnt there that a hot nurse might have given him one ,that will get his blood pressure back up to where its supposed to be! ,im gonna go crawl back in bed. todays plans are on for tomorrow if im feelin better. thanx for the prayers ya'll...jenny
no he did not do the transplant they needed to go this route because they had to do some thing fast
