Trying to Toughen My Puffers

Arg!! Toughen up your Puffers?!? What are you building a Puffer Football team? Is this Puffer MMA? What exactly are you wanting them tough for??? Do you want them to fight each other?

If you want mean fish, get mean fish, maybe you should try piranhas or there are some freshwater puffers that are really aggressive, I think the Congo Puffer.
The reason you don't get much advice is because 99% of the people on this board have the goal of housing saltwater fish in an environment they can thrive in allowing us to enjoy a piece of the ocean in our homes....You are quite obviously in the 1% that doesn't care about that, you want big aggressive fish in tight quarters to kill each other, not sure if there is a board for that, but keep looking.

Ok ive got a valentini, leopard, and pork puffer. I would like to make them more aggressive...
My current feeding schedule:
7 AM: Frozen Krill
12 PM: Flake Food/Freeze-Dried Krill
5 PM: Salad Shrimp/ Live Ghost Shrimp
Throughout (sp?) the Day: Freeze-Dried Krill
Any suggestions? ty
Yet this is your opening post!!!
Saying when you upgrade and you want your Puffers to be ready for the "triggers" is absolutely ridiculous! Fish are either compatible with each other or they are not. Fish are either appropriate in a certain size tank or they are not. You can do whatever you want with a Valentini Puffer it still won't be compatible with large Triggers.

first, its not compatablity im looking for, its the ablity to hold their own! ive seen it happen. Damsels attacking gobies, gobies lashing back, damsels learn not to attack again. Thats wat i was lookong for! Second, if you read my reasoning in the first place, then why did you accuse me of just wanting my puffers to kill each other!?

Valentine puffer beats the queen trigger at 3:45 of the second round via FINBAR .

Just a quick question... if you cannot afford to buy a suitable tank right now, how (or why) do you blow money on new fish in an unsuitable tank? Not really a good way to save up for that upgrade, IMO.

YOu know how this goes crimzy .
Buy what you want . Get told your going to fail . Argue with everybody . Realize everybody was right when your fish get sick . Have change of heart and start believing people that give out good advice . It happens all the time around here .

Seems like the guys who like "puffers" tend to do this often... hmmm.

I think it has something to do with the mentality of most aggressive fish keepers . They want the most bang for the buck type thing .
