My refractometer and salifert test kits came in while I was at home for lunch....

The live rock and ro/di should be on the porch when I get home this evening...

Got in the rock and got it all placed the way I want it.
UPS decided I didn't need my RO/DI unit today so I won't get it until tomorrow. I really hate UPS. I have never recieved a package on time from them.
Anyway, here are a couple of pics of the new rock in the tank. I am going to buy another 20lbs. or so to get the look I want.
I am going to finish the canopy this weekend, so I will have some more pics of that later.
Anyway, enjoy!

I put a couple of powerheads in so the water is a little cloudy.
I ordered 2 Seio 2600s (2600 gph each). After I put these in I will have a total of 110gph turnover including my return pump.

I got the RO/DI unit in at lunch. I will post pics of it tonight....I can't wait to get it up and running.
I know my wife is happy...she is tired of lugging water from the grocery store.

Oh please, I have a 125 gallon tank and after two months STILL don't have an RO/DI unit.
But, it's the next thing on my list, because yes, I'm getting pretty tired myself.

No...their units are all RO except for the Kent Maxima which is RO/DI and it is way over priced.
Mine is a Purely H20 and it has a flush kit, dual tds meter and RO/DI for around $220 shipped.

It turns out that the water in my town is not too bad at all. It reads 190TDS.
Not real hard to get that down to 0....

That's not bad, my water is 515 TDS. :scared: Needless to say I'm buying my RO water (4 TDS) for now, until I get my RO/DI unit.

I just finished painting the canopy. I will post pics later once I have it on the tank.
I am also going to set up the auto top off later and will post pics of that also....
I am heading to a somewhat lfs (about 30 miles away). I need to get one more good sized rock and then I'm done....
