get that debt paid off... you don't want to start pouring money into a tank and then it crash because you couldn't afford to do water changes or get all the stuff needed.

get the aquavase..
1gallon tank you can put some softies and maybe an acan or two in there... just do frequent water changes lol... and get the 20w 50/50 coralife CFL light.
Tank is like $33
bulb $20
fixture $5-$10
sand... $2?
rock $5 or less
just get carbon in the hob filter that comes with it.. Personally I'd try to do a mini surface skimmer to attach to it as well... keep that water film free...
Mine was freakin awesome... sheeit.. I'm getting myself excited.. I'm gonna have to do another one lol... and just plumb it in line with my nano hahaha..

Listen to her, she is right. You have done enough research to know that patience is key. This is a very tough hobby to do with no money, so get your ducks in a row and do it right.

The only thing that happens fast in saltwater is faliure!

I have wanted a saltwater tank since i was 16, i finally got one at 31. Now my son has one. So i get to pay for a 55 and a 72. The next one will be an in the wall build prob a 150 or 200, depends on what i find at the time. This will take place in a few years as i still have two more kids to get raised.
