The driving part is the easy part and the least of your worries.
But who can argue with 60k a year?

Once you have a bid you work 4 on 3 off. Your days are consecutive.
If you are into hydraulics why dont you drive a tow truck or learn how to operate a crane, there is a crane traing school in woodland of exit 22, and tow companies are always hiring.

The crane co is a training facility, go i-5 north to exit 22, dike acess rd, go right and you will be looking at it. The closest large tow outfit is tlc towing in ridgfield at exit 14 1/2 mile west of i-5. There is carls towing in longview and jacks towing in woodland (very small).

What is the property value though? I used to live in a 3200sq ft house on .46 acre on a lake that was valued at 600K but the property values had tripled there while I was living there (bought for 220K sold for 550k 5 years later) Now I live out in the country in a 2200sq ft house valued at 220K minus the land which I have about 16 acres. Land here is totally dependant on where it located. 9 acres just sold right down the road for 45K. Property here is much cheaper than where you are if you look for it.
