Krazykarel, your picture is taken by a well known and respected author in our hobby. I think you'll find his opinion coinscides with those that urge caution in trying to keep multiple triggers or triggers with other tankmates.
I understand the caution. I have been around here for a while and read just about every thread discussing Triggers. As far as Slackjaw's tank and practices, I am not here to judge, but I do have to say many people are very passionate about his tank!
My request in the original post was to show me those Undys pics. It appears not to many in this community keep Undys, which surprises me because just about every LFS around me has one or more for sale.

I'm just curious, not hating...
I hate on that one asian guy that had the 37cube with a koran angel, 6 clowns, and other fish... literally 14 BIGGER fish in a small tank..
Personally I've pulled off the following in my 20long.
2 False percs
1 citron goby
1 rainfords goby
5 neon gobies
1 hi fin red banded goby with tiger pistol shrimp.
So 10fish in a 20long (25lbs of rock in display, 2lbs in CPR HOB)... With the refugium and all that it stayed rather clean, but I stayed on top of strict weekly 5 gallon changes.

Hopefully your luck stays because you never know when one of those fish is gonna start a king of the mountain contest and the consequent bloodbath.

People are not nearly as passionate about his tank as they are about his posting things that we know from experience are detrimental to a tank. While you obviously have done your research, others who post here have not and as such can quickly be lead astray.

We're not going to argue this here. Feel free to pm me if I stated anything unfairly or inaccurately and i'll delete or edit my own post. Also, feel free to start your own post. As I said, however, we're not going to argue and sideline yet another thread.

I understand. Personally, I love triggerfish, the picasso was what convinced me to go from my freshwater cichlids to saltwater and I would hate to see any of my fish get thrashed by another.
Ideally, I would like to have an all trigger tank with as many different ones as I could find, but I understand their potential behavior, and based on the sum of the anecdotal evidence in our community, I know it is not likely to end well.

Thanks the green demon didn't last long before I took him back . He was a terrorist from the get go . He would hide in the rocks and shoot out at the other fish and attack them . He had about 3/4 of the tank staked out as his teritory .

mine is allways out looking for something to kill. when i first got him i put him with a porc puffer and a eel that where both twice his size and he went crazy trying to kill puffer and eel, good thing i had my 180 set so now my puffer and eel are in there, and the trigger is in a tank by himself.

El demonio verde...that is an appropriate name! Now both of you have females. How's their coloration compared to a male?
On another note, hypothetically speaking, if the Undy is introduced after a different but larger Trigger that is also known for aggressiveness (ie. a CT, queen, yellowmargin, etc) would that curb the Undy's aggressiveness? Not having ever kept one myself, I would assume that the larger aggressive trigger would check the smaller belligerent Undy. Discuss.

IME, relative size doesn't always counter basic aggressiveness. I've seen very small triggers dominate & destroy fish many times their size. These are beautiful, interesting fish; and very personable. They really seem to "enjoy" (a word I hesitate to use when describing fish) a lot of attention. But I think their basic temperament & size makes long-term success with other fish a real problem. I had a couple, years ago, and never did find anything I could keep with them long term. Maybe a titan trigger in a 500 gal. BTW; I remember reading that undulated triggers were among the very first fish kept in the hobby; probably because they are so hardy and eat everything in sight. IMO, there just isn't much you can do, short of a fish-lobotomy, to change the pure aggression of this fish. Genetic make-up is usually set in stone.
