Soooo here is what has happened to my Kenya tree....Don't know why. Everything in my tank is healthy (except the kenya) all my levels are "ideal" it just up and went. Looks like it might have got some kind of bacterial infection but I am not too sure.

Hey Peef, why does your tank look really red in your pics...?
PS. Look up Brown Jelly Disease. An Iodine dip or Lugols dip wont hurt and may help you.

It totally was the digi that nuked the kenya because the nearest coral also was a little rainbow ricordia that melted at the exact same time. But oh well you win some and you lose some. And the digi won BIG time.
So I also saw the movie, "Iron Man" last night and IT FREAKEN ROCKS....of couse. Go see it!

So I changed my HQI bulb this morning and HOLY COW!!!! The difference is exponential. Like the difference in switching from a freaken flourecent to a MH or so. My jbj bulb was only like 7 months old so due for changing but not like "OLD". But wow. So I had to cut the light time to about 4 hours today. I don't want to burn out all my corals.
I switched to a Coralife 14k. I want to see if there is a good amount of growth with it. I might try the phoenix bulb next. YEA for a new bulb!

The really red must have been the bulb dying out. Because now it doesn't at all!

Wow! So changing out the bulbs make that much of a difference??
The bulbs on my 29 are 8 months old... maybe it's time for a change?

And don't worry, you're not talking to yourself... lots of people read or look at pics in our thread but don't comment for one reason or another.

Lovin tha new pics bro. And i feel the same way like i am always talking to myself when i post pics or ask a question. No one ever comments . Always the same 5 people. But you guys are wonderful and you know who you are and peef i think your one of those. So nice looking zoos you got growing there. It seems they do better when there are differents ones close to each other like that/.

Any way your tank looks as it should now, much whiter and blue, I am going with a pheonix 15k next time around for mine I want it a bit bluer. And stop talking to yourself...
