If a crab and a half weigh a pound and a half; and the half crab weighs as much as the whole crab again. How much does half of the whole crab and the whole of the half crab weigh?

half of the whole crab = 1/4 pound
the whole of the half crab = a pound

Wrong. I came up with 4 separate answers. All of them could be solutions. That wasn't one of them lol.

So does that mean you don't know the answer

The half crab weighs as much as the whole crab "again". So you don’t mean the half crab is double the whole crab when you say "again"
If the half crab was crabby as the whole, and the whole crab was twice as crabby as the half, and the combination of the two was as crabby as my wife, suck would life.....

No, forget the again. It is just there to confuse you. The half crab weighs the same amount as the whole crab.
I still think I'm right. They weight the same, together they weigh 1.5 lbs. Therefore, they weigh 3/4 of a lb each.
1/2*3/4=3/8.
3/8+3/4=9/8 or 1 1/8.
Am I missing something?

That is one of the possible solutions, but not the preferred solution. You want the whole of the half crab...
