Vodka Dosing.

Okay I have been following a thread over on another site that caters to nano reef tanks. The guy there has a 29 biocube, which is what I have. He started dosing vodka and amino acid at one drop of each per day and has seen some increased coloring and polyp extension.
Today I have started the same program using Mohawk Vodka and Brightwell Aquatics Restor.
I have taken pictures of the coral I will be following and a two day cup of skimmate.
My hopes in this are to get better polyp extension and color from my SPS coral specifically Acropora sp., Millepora sp., and Seriatopora sp., as well as improved water clarity and reduced green algae buildup on the tank glass.
Since the first of the year I have been using the Prodibio products to accomplish the same things but am not getting the results I had hoped for. I will continue with this because I have seen some results in water clarity and coral growth, but not coloring. I have read numerous posts where people have coupled Prodibio or Zeovit programs with some sort of carbon dosing like Vodka, Vinegar, or Sugar.
Here are the before vodka pictures.
17-mar skimmate

17-mar Seriatopora

17-mar ora voodoo

17-mar Acropora

17-mar Millepora

17-mar ora purple haze?

Probably gonna post up once per week or so.

Cool, i'll keep track of this thread. Im very interested to see if theres a difference also. Please do keep us up to date.

Henry see if you can find a report by Mruitez and Kokott published in 2004 on coral polyp expansion due to vodka dosing

Interesting, very hard to read as the copy of the report I got was in very broken English, and old from like 2004. However I am sure you have something in your mind that sticks out in this report and would like you to share it here.

I seem to remember one of your vodka dosing threads...did it get locked or deleted or something...I never could find it again.
