Wade Phillip's is gone? And they're putting in Jason Garrett?

Well, I never ever thought I'd say this, but I don't know if I'll ever watch another cowboys game again this year. According the the local news Jerry is going to replace Wade with Jason.
Now I'm a little bit of a sucker for the good ol boy, so maybe I'm biased. But it seems to me like this is the dumbest move a person can make. Now up until the Giants game I'm a Wade fan. My personal theory is that Jerry setup a 2 head coach system. Think about it he hired Jason first, then told Wade you'll have to live with him. So Wade can't dabble in the offense. Then half way into his second year, Jerry makes Wade the defensive coordinator.
Fast forward 2 years. Wade's defense has been spectacular. Garrett's offense has sputtered. Getting ton's of yards, but their supposed 3 headed running game struggling. (can't block a blitzing line backer). They can't get their top wr to integrate into their offense. And the supposed genius of offense coordinators, and backup QB for his entire career can't even get Kitna to run his offense. (not that it has been much different than Romo this season).
Unfortunately for Wade his defense made a business decision and stopped playing. So he get the can and the guy who's offense destroyed the cowboys this year, now get to play head coach. I really don't think I can watch another game...

YIKES....after last nights game, I hate to say it, but my husband said it was time for Wade to go....as I have said many times before, I have never liked the guy anyway...
Jason Garrett....HMMMMM....we really have no choice...who the heck would take over this crappy team right now
SOOOOO, any bets on who the head coach will be

My husband would love for it to be Cowher

agree with everything you are saying.even the local radio guys are also.jason has no clue .the giants are going to slaughter the cowboys.
wade is not a motivator but these players shouldnt need one.the players are just collecting a paycheck.except for a couple guys the team just has no heart in the game.jerry needs to get some starving average players.they would do a better job than the players out there now.

He needed to be fired...It's one thing to be bad, it's another to show no heart whatsoever.
I really don't think Cowher or Gruden will have much interest in working for JJ the meddler, but you never know.

Mickey mouse would do a better job than garrett..., but Garrett's offense was the issue the whole time he was there...
Seriously Dave Campo, hell Cammillis for all I care. At least he isn't the reason we're 1-7.

Its the cowgirls, who cares? Start planning on who you will get to replace jason and start looking forward to drafting really high in the first round.

At least I don't have to worry about the Cowgirls taking a QB when they draft ahead of the Cardinals.....Locker to the Cardinals!!!!! I can only hope
STDRED and Darth, start working on pronouncing A-muk-a-mar-a, I envision him as your first round pick next year.

As a EAGLES fan this is fun. but on a football side you guys are in deep you know what. with all the changes coming next year jerry has no money left to pay someone to come and try to make things better. get ready for a big fire sale.

There's talk of John Fox, whose contract runs out at the end of this year, but he's no better IMO, just look at Carolina right now.

Old Lovie from Chicago might be in the Job Market also. But he can not get anyone to win either at Chicago either. Also Mike Singletary and a few others wll be on the Market. Cowher IIRC said he will not work for Jones same with Gruden. Tony Dungy might however it will cost Jerry Jones any ability to meddle with the Team AT ALL. I doubt Jerry will give that much power up.

what terrifies me is that I think no matter what we'll have Jason for the next year, unless that collective barganing issue gets resolved very soon...

Dude, I am having a rough year when it comes to sports. Both of my favorite NFL teams are in the toilet, and my Nascar Fantasy is going downhill fast as well.

Still hangin' around. Been camping/backpacking a lot, training for a big trip to New Mexico next year. I see this place has gotten a lot less active

funny the radio has a commercial that says.the cowboys already have a one up on the lock out.they have already stopped playing.

My husband heard on NFL Network last night that the Giants gave their team off of practice until Wednesday

I guess they think Sunday's game against the Cowboys will be stressless......man I hope we beat them...I hate the Giants
