I just bought a metal faucet adapter for my RO unit, so it will be in my bathroom. The plastic adapter that came with it broke already...
I ordered another power head (Maxi-Jet 1200) and a feeding stick last night! I plan on doing more work on my stand this afternoon. I'll post updates tonight.

Is this good lighting for anemones as well or just corals?

Would I be able to keep an anemone with this light?

Nor most anemones. Very few anemones will survive under PC lighting for any length of time. I personally would not try it. I went with MH because I love clams and want a rose anemone.

Would the Current USA Nova T5 HO Extreme X4 let me keep anemones?
About how much would a decent MH setup be for my tank? 48" wide...

Well I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Current USA Nova T5 HO Extreme for my lighting setup. It's a great price and I've read good things about it and they have said that you can keep just about anything with it. I will probably end up retrofitting individual reflectors for each bulb if it is possible. Let me hear any opinions about this setup!

I think that you went with a good choice. You might want to check out what bronco has on his tank.

A slight update!
I decided to take my first 55 gallon tank back to Petsmart because I decided I was going to go ahead and get a good reef lighting fixture, and the first one I bought came with flourescent lights. I got one that didn't come with the lights because it was cheaper. Oh yea, did I mention that I hate Petsmart? I went ahead and got a 10 gallon tank to use as my QT. I still have a to get a filter for it...I did a little bit of work on my stand today. It was all sanding, getting it ready to be stained. It's coming along pretty well, although I haven't got to work on it much lately. I am waiting on my stepdad to get back from Houston so we can finish it up. I will definatly post pictures when I get it finished and set up. Here is a picture:

Check back soon, and thanks for all your help and comments!

The 55 was $99.95, and the 10 gallon was on sale for $9, so I went ahead and bought it...I just need a filter and maybe lighting for it...

I got a little bit more work done on my stand today...not much, just more sanding and prepping it for staining. I should have it stained tomorrow though. I'm in no big hurry to finish it because I will be going out of town and my tank won't be set up until I get back...
I changed my mind about the T5 light, I have now decided on the Current USA Sunpod 2x150w 14K HQI. Let me know what you think about that fixture. I just want to go ahead and get a MH setup now so I can put corals in after my tank is established.

What a game, Congrats to Chelsea, FA Cup champs. Now the boring long summer begins, no football or football and basketball is about over. I guess I can spend my time looking at everyone's fish tank.

Another update!
I did some more work on my tank stand. I got the trim on the other day. It's hard to see the it, but there is some detail on the edge of the trim. Here is a picture:

I got my other powerhead and feeding stick in on friday:

Well here is my stand after the first coat of stain. I want it to be a lot darker, but I kind of like it a little light.

So what do you think? Should I make it darker or keep it lite?
