What do you do if you see a shark?

If you see a shark - consider yourself LUCKY!! I have been a avid diver for over 10 years and have seen less than dozen sharks in all my dives - Remember, you are in their world - and quite honestly unless you are a wounded fish - they could really care less that you exist!
So, seriously, respect them and they will respect you --

I would be really amazed. I live in Michigan and boat on Lake St. Clair. The closest thing we have to shark is the Muskie.

Stock photo, not me in the pic.
Makes me a little leary swimming in the lake let alone the ocean with sharks, barracuda, and jellyfish...OH MY!!

i live in florida and have been surfing for about 13 years and see sharks all the time! you kinda get used to them. the only time you get out is when the mullet are running the beaches and the sharks are in a feeding frenzy! other then that just sit on your board and keep surfing!
