I am hoping that it was the alk levels that killed it. I have already bought new salt and am mixing some for a change
I wonder what made them go up like that....don't get rid of the plug...sometimes these xenia just reappear....really

I think that it was causing the high alk levels which killed it. are you using the regular instant ocean or reef crystals?
I use regular, and my alk levels are actually on the low side of normal range..

hang on to the rock; even tho its gone some it of may reside within it. I had xenia die off only to come back months later. I have noticed a decline in my xenia when running carbon for an extended period.

I guess that it is possible that it fell off.
Well it is possible that you may see a branch or 2 pop up somewhere else then...
I have had a feather duster in there for over 2 weeks and its doing good. I havent seen the coco in over a day now. can see it in the tube tho. trites and ammo are both 0. trates are about 20ppm.
Are you supposed to feed the Coco worm? IDK anything about them....I know my feather dusters weren't coming out and Spanko told me it was a sign of malnutrition
So I have been adding some more phyto foods to the tank
