CPR bacpac2r on my 58 fish only...and on my 55 reef(with sump and refugium containing about 80 additional gal) a EuroReef CS6-2.
One of the best additions I've made was the purchase of a EuroReef skimmer!

Thanks the more rply's the better, Has anyone heard of the "turbo-skimmer"? and a=can i put a link on here so u can tell me what u think?

I presently have a Predator skimmer (forget the model, but it is a fairly large external thingy), but it really is too small for my system and not terribly efficient. New LFS has talked me into a rather large external EuroReef skimmer which he promises me he will install. A bit pricey, those big external EuroReef skimmers are. Made for a 300 gallon system. I have about 350 or so gallons. Hope it will do the job. I'm told they will handle far more than the stated # of gallons.
Started with a less than ideal Prizm skimmer. Inefficient, loud, and tempramental. It's shoved in the back of my fish closet somewhere...

When my Wife will let me buy something else for my tank it will be a EuroReef Skimmer which are definetly one of the best!! (I am still working on her Honey-Do list after buying $600 worth of Calcium Reactor and PH Controllers!! ) I currently run a Berlin Classic & a Prizm Skimmer on my 55gal SPS tank & a Prizm on my 30 gal Soft & LPS tank. They all do an OK job!

Excalibur on a 55-gallon for three months now. This appears to be an unpopular skimmer though. Seems to work and was inexpensive.

Lifereef SFS-24 run by a Mag 9.5 pump. Best $400 I ever spent on the tank.
This thing hauls out some serious gunk from the water. I use Lifereef for all my filtration. I run the CLF-1 sump with the skimmer in it and I'm saving for a LCR-2 ca reactor. :)
I've heard good things about the Euroreef as well....but in the end I chose Lifereef.
